Villa was lovely and we were more than happy with it. An ant problem though, but quickly dealt with by the maintenance guy. Pool was looked after every day and was very clean, and we loved that.
I must mention that not all the photos are of the property that we were in and there was no sea view, so if you book for the view you will be disappointed.
I read a review before we left by somebody who said the owner has a few villas and obviously put you where he feels like, and he is also unobtainable alot, and this is all true from our experience. The guy Koray never answered any emails sent before we went, and while we were there didnt answer his phone unless he was going to make money out of us, however he lost out because every thing he quoted us for was very expensive, so we went elsewhere and got things a lot cheaper. For example we went to Sakklient Gorge by taxi (who was a friend of the pool guy), at around £70 cheaper than Koray quoted us, all in.
Also as stated in the last review we only had 3 sunbeds, ok for us as a 6 person family, but not if there were two couples going. They managed to get us 1 more the second week when someone else left?!
Having said all this, it was excellent value for money, had they have just been honest in the description and photos we would have been more than happy, and I would definitely recommend it. The views from the top of the road were outstanding. A very steep road mind you, so not suitable for everyone.
We went to the Market shop at the bottom daily for bread etc run by a very friendly Turkish couple, who made us Turkish coffee one day, and would also deliver you by car to your villa if you wanted to buy lots of things, rather than have you walk up the steep hill.
A lovely holiday and we will definitely go back, but Koray really needs to be a bit more helpful!
Owner reply:
Louisa,
I think you have not relaised that you are on a self catering villa and looking for a hotel service with lots of attention that you need to pay. By giving my name and advertising that we are more expensive than a taxi you also have to explain why as well. The taxi you have taken is a yellow cab and the tour service to Saklikent gorge we provide is with a private guide, includes lunch and entrance fees and also vehicle is a 8 seater Mercedes Benz. If you have not thought you deserve this service please do not compare it with yellow cab.
Kind Regards,

We booked this villa for 4 weeks in June/July and received a very generous discount. For 3 months we tried to get in touch with the owner to get a price for an extra week and when we left the UK we still did not have a price even though we had been promised one on several occasions.
You may notice that there are 2 identical properties on this site, right down to the bedding. This is in fact just one property that the owner rents out so he can make more money! Both were booked at the same time! We were concerned that someone might turn up at our villa and say that they should also be staying there!
When we met up with the owner he showed us to a villa which was certainly not the one we had booked. He claimed it was an upgrade. The new house was beautiful, bigger than we had originally booked and we were clearly the first people to have stayed in it. Amazing pool, lots of outdoor space and beautiful views across the bay.
It did not, however, have many of the facilities promised in the first villa. There were only 2 sunbeds, 4 of us were staying, there was no cot, no microwave, no BBQ, no DVD player, hardly any kitchen utensils, no furniture for eating out doors, the list went on. Worst of all we had no air conditioning. The house slept 8 people yet it only had seating in the living room for 4, outdoor seating for 6 and towels for 3!!!
We went down to see the owner, Koray, who turned out to be an agent running several properties in the Gocek area to see if we could sort out all the things that were wrong and he said someone would be round to sort them out in the morning.
We arrived on Sunday evening. We were without air conditioning for 6 days, the temperature was 38C. We sent various texts and made numerous visits to the agents office but none of this helped! On the Friday the main control air conditioning unit was replaced. The cot, extra sunbeds and BBQ all arrived on the Friday. If we had been only staying for 1 week our entire holiday would have been ruined. The air conditioning broke again for 3 days at the end of our second week. We sent various texts to the agent which he seemed to be ignoring, so went to town to see him. He was not in his office, in fact he wasnt even in the country! At this point we still did not have a price for the extra week of our holiday.
The power often tripped out in the house, you could not have the washing machine on at the same time as the oven, you couldnt have the air conditioning on at the same time as a hair dryer.
One air conditioning unit was leaking a pint of water every half hour.
In our third week we were told that our outdoor furniture was being replace, we had been using someone elses furniture.
We were supposed to have a maid service during our stay but we did not see a maid for the 4 weeks we stayed. The only cleaning equipment we had was a vacuum and this was no good on tiled and wooden floors. We were provided with floor cleaner but no mop!
We met another family who had booked with the same agent, they were also not in the property they had booked and did not have a BBQ etc.
Our agent arrived back in the county 2 days before our 4 week stay was over. He was finally able to give us a price for an extra week 900€! Since we had only paid 1,500€ for 4 weeks we thought this was ridiculous so decided to move to another villa as we had already changed our flights. We spoke to the caretaker of the property who said he would only have charged us 750€ and would have given us a discount as we had stayed so long. He could not have been more apologetic about all the problems we had, more than can be said for the agent. We did not receive any form of apology from him in the 4 weeks that we were there. If we had stayed in the original villa we had booked it was still priced at 540€, a lot less than the agent was trying to charge us.
The agent is an absolute cowboy who has no concern other than making money! He cleary did not care about the people staying in his properties. Be aware of this before you book, you will probably not be staying in this property if you book it. A car is essential as the property is at least a 25 minute walk from town.

A very private property. In a great location, a short drive to Gocek which has a great range of restaurants and plenty of supermarkets. At a push you could walk to Gocek but wouldve been too hot in August. Plenty of taxis though if you dont want to hire a car. Villa was lovely and the pool and garden area were beautifully looked after by local staff. Various daytrips in the vicinity especially enjoyed Saklilent Gorge. Villa had everything we needed and very efficient air-con! Particularly loved the wild tortoise that visited our garden!

We had a lovely week at Villa Pine. Pine tree forest and quiet location is suitable for kids as well. Large pool and garden with sunbeds is the place that we spent most of our time.
Gocek restaurants' are delicous and reasonably priced. Sea front restuarants are 15 minutes walking distance rom the house and taxi is only 12 TL ƕ GBP) maximum for each way.
