This apartment is a penthouse in the award winning Flipflops Meltemi development located on a hillside over the beautiful tourist town of Gulluk on the Turkish Turquoise Coast. It has 2 bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 guests with a double sofa bed in the living room. There is air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room. Being only 10 minutes from Bodrum Airport, you can be at the apartment after your flight in less than 20 minutes, swimming in the pool or enjoying a beer on the balcony.

There is a friendly onsite manager named Yusuf who speaks excellent English who will be able to help you with any tourist needs you may have. There is a mini-supermarket 2 minutes walk from Flipflops which stocks all conveniences. There are 3 other larger supermarkets in town withing walking distance including a huge Migros. There are several excellent and inexpensive places to eat in Gulluk, some lively bars, relaxing beach clubs and beaches. Gulluk is a very affordable place to stay as restaurants here charge about a quarter of the prices in Bodrum.

Flipflops are self catering apartments in a resort complex and is just a few minutes walk from the uncrowded beaches of Güllük. The apartments are only a stroll to the town centre, promenade and harbour area which offers great restaurants, bars and cafes. Flipflops is a great base for a romantic sunny holiday, a relaxing family vacation or a more active golf or boating break. Gulluk town doesn't close so its an all year round resort with mild winters and hot summers.

Historical sites such as Ephesus, Iassos, Halikarnassos and the Temple of Apollo are within easy reach also.

It is an ideal winter golf break destination with cheap flights and only a short drive from Bodrum airport and 2 golf courses and mild weather.

"Güllük" translates as “place of roses” and is a charming fishing village that still shows off traditional pastimes but equally abounds with modern living. There are many welcoming bars and restaurants dotted around its pretty bay within minutes walking distance of Flipflops.

Located in Mandalya Bay on the Aegean Sea, also known as the "Turquoise Coast", Gulluk is foremost an unspoilt fishing port north of the Bodrum Peninsular. There is an abundance of fish restaurants serving locally caught sea bass and bream, cafes and eating houses. Boat trips around Mandalya bay can be arranged very cheaply at Gulluk harbour.

Historically, Gulluk, formerly known as Küllük prior to 1933, was an import-export harbour for the Greeks trading during the Ottoman Empire period. The store buildings and warehouses are today restaurants and shops.
