We had a fantastic holiday here in July 2012, weather was perfect and my two daughters (aged 5 & 9) happily spend most of the day playing in and around the pool and making friends. The villa is spacious and in very good condition, tastefully decorated and brilliantly situated. We mostly stayed by the pool / villa and enjoyed evening BBQs in the garden, its only a 5 minute walk down to the local shop which has all the basics covered and theres some great restaurants too here serving local specialities / mezes etc which we ate at on a few evenings too. Its only a 10 minute car / taxi ride in the nearby Gundogan which has superb seafood restaurants as well as large supermarkets to stock up. We would highly recommend this villa and were sure to be back again next year. Thanks so much for an amazing holiday.

We really enjoyed theis property. We have rented a few villas and this is our favourite so far.
The villa is well equipped with all modcons, a large fridge freezer, which means you do not have to shop every day , plenty of towels bed linen and A/C in every room.
It has a beautiful secluded garden with a swing seat where you can relax in the dappled shade, with the breeze in the trees, the little birds looking for seeds in the grass and the sound of the muezzin carrying faintly in the air.The villa is surrounded by mandarin orchards and you can pick your lemons for your G&Ts from the lemon trees in the garden.
The pool area is lovely and you frequently have it to yourself.
The villa hasa large bottom terrace where we enjoyed or meals and evening drinks. There is a cool breeze there, in the heat of the Turkish summer. The top terrace is a sun bathers paradise and is well equipped with suitable furniture to develop that enviable tan. In this villa you have a choice of enjoying the heat and the cool. The top terrace overlooks the valley , mountains and ancient windmills
The villa is only a short walk to the sea, beach and lovely local restaurants of Kucucbuk. It is in the best part of the valley, rural quiet, but only a five minute walk to the beach and facilities.
The villa is close to a dolmus stop. These are Turkish mini-buses that stop anywhere and can take you all over the penninsular. There are small shops for essentials in the village and supermakets in Gundogan for a big shop. only five minutes away by car ,taxi or dolmus
We really relaxed in this villa and didnt want to come home and we were there for five weeks!! If you have a stressful life and/ or come from a urban environment, then you will truly be in paradise. We live in a National Park and we felt we were in heaven! So its good for chilled out individuals too!!! The tranquility suits them down to the ground!!
Anne and Rick ,the owners, are very helpful and kind and want you to
enjoy your stay in their special place in Turkey.
We highly recommend this property

A lovely villa set amongst lemon and lime trees. The surrounding area is good with various bays to explore. A car is a must have to be able to get around but you soon adapt to the driving and roads!. The villa was everything we hoped for with a lovely pool which we were the only ones to use.

It was a fantastic vacation.
It was my first time in Turkey. Before that I was in many countries in south of Europe.I can compare.
Anna and Richard"s house is wonderful. It is situated in the very green and quiet place. There are many tangerine and lemone trees around the house. There is the big and cosy yard with the garden furniture there. The house is equipped with all necessery things for comfortable living. The house is very convenient for two families or for one big family.
A car is necessary. We need it not only for shopping but for visits to the sea too.The nearst beach is in ten minutes on foot. But we don"t like crowded places (very often in Turkey) so we looked for and found quiet bays and beaches with cristal clear water. Our children also swam after sea in the pool near the villa.
We think what it is possible to come back to this place again.
Two families from Moscow,Russia.

We considered the villa excellent value for money for those seeking a restful and peaceful holiday. The villa was suberbly appointed and met all expectations. The accommodation was more than adequate for our party of six adults. The ambience of the location with the gardens and pool was good and we really enjoyed our stay. Kucubuk is small and away from the general bustle which we enjoyed. For those seeking, a busier time they may require a less sleepy locatrion. A car is a must if you want to explore.

Villa Yaka is an excellent summer house, big enough to host 6 people and great place to enjoy with a group of friends or family.
The pictures are accurate, the facilities are well taken care of and the location is good if you want to stay at a quiet place but be able to reach the city with a short drive.
I would definitely recommend it!

We loved every moment of our stay in the villa.
We were a group of 21 years old people from Italy and Denmark..sometimes we found ourselves wanting to hang around in the house instead of going out. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was just a luxury way to sometimes recover from the heat whenever we were coming home from the beach. (The villa is POWERFULLY equipped with air conditioning in every single room!)
Only minus, yes ..it is a bit far away from the center, so we would reccomend to have a car (even if we managed well ayway, there were Dolmus- minibuses every half an hour to Gundogan and Bodrum).
Would defenetely recommend this to my friends and family and hopefully we will be able to go there again- soon!

We simply felt at home from the moment we got to the lovely villa, which has everything you possibly need to enjoy a peaceful holiday. And if you want to reach the busy tourist towns (Bodrum, Yalikavak, etc - great for markets!), you are only a few minutes drive away. The gardens and pool are lovely and the locals in Gudongan are adorable. We also had some fantastic meals at the seafront restaurants. Last but not least, the owner of villa couldnt have been more accommodating and helpful with all our needs and queries, not to mention the flexibility re our arrival at 2am due to the mess caused by easyJet with our flights - a lot of stress on the first day of holiday, which simply dissipated as soon as we arrived - thank you!

Beautiful villa, with lovely grounds, and pool.
A car is essential to get around, as this villa is situated in a very quiet area.
If the hustle & bustle of a town like Bodrum is what you are after, then this may be a little remote.
Cannot fault the quality of the villa, and the friendly Turkish people, although their driving skills ,leave a lot to be desired!!!!

We had a fantastic holiday with our two children at this lovely villa.
The villa is really homely with lots of personal touches and obviously not just a holiday let ,more of a home from home.
The swimming pool was lovely and just the right size not too big not too small.
I would recommend that to make the most of this beautiful area of Bodrum you should hire a car as it would be a shame to miss the other little villages and towns waiting to be explored. Although one could quite easily stay at this luxurious villa 24/7 one might feel guilty about it....
Would definately come back to this villa, even in August, as Gundogan was several degrees cooler that Bodrum.
Many thanks.

We had a wonderful time, and the villa is superb, an oasis of comfort in a lush garden. The nature is amazing and pitoresque, the beach is nearby, the local people are friendly and helpful.
We have wonderful memories of our time in your villa, Kucukbuk and the surroundings.
Do not forget to visit as much as possible: Gundogan, Yalikavak, Turgutreis, Bodrum with the Mausoleum and the Castle, and the Bays...marvellous.
Anne, Rick, we had a lovely time, and thank you so much for your attention to detail and friendly professionalism.
We do hope we get back to Evleri 6 in the future!

A fabulous villa! We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week in perfect surroundings. So many different places to sit in the shade, or in the sun. We had never been to Turkey before & didn't know what to expect, but we were surprised at the warmth & friendliness of the local people, & the cleanliness of the cafes & restaurants. The market at Gundugan was wonderful for fresh produce, spices, & well priced clothing. All in all, exceeded all our expectations- already booked for 2008!

A very nicely decorated house, in perfect state, located at the end of a quiet residence area as indicated in the description.
We enjoyed every place of the house, from the dart & pool room in the basement to the solarium on the roof to the terrasse surrounded by trees.
Ideal to relax & recharge batteries.
Better to go with a car if you want to visit the region.

We had two lovely weeks in this well equipped Villa. The villa was clean, nicely decorated and all you need is available. Surrounded by nice garden and swimmingpool in quiet area overlooking the lime-trees (no sea-view).And with a geat roof terrace.
Families with little kids/babies have to keep in mind that there are rather some stairs in the house and around the terrace.
A cosy beach is on walking distance with very friendly turkisch people: we didn't see any foreign tourists!
I really would recommend this villa, especially if you want a nice family holiday away from the crowd!

The property was every bit as good as the photos had suggested; comfortably furnished, very spacious and set in lush gardens with a nice pool. Everything was modern and in good working order. The local shop and some restaurants (which were beautifully set with tables on jetties in the bay) were in walking distance, but we felt a car was essential to reach the larger resort of Gundogan and beyond.

A truly fabuluous villa, equipped with everything you need and furnished to a very high standard.
Located in a very quiet area but within easy walking distance of local beach and restaurants.
Ideal to people looking for a relaxing holiday away from nightclubs etc.!
