We stayed here for our honeymoon. The villa is as exactly like the one shown in the photos. The view from the bedroom as well as from the front garden is exquisite. The pool is right next to the villa. The only difficulty might be the transportation especially if you dont have a car. However, there are minibuses coming every 30min. Levent Bey, the owner, was also very helpful. In short, this place is definitely worth it a try if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, seaside holiday.

Myself and 4 others have just returned from a 2 weeks holiday in Villa Bache. I can speak from everyone in the group and say that we all really enjoyed our time in a beautifully kept villa with the most jaw dro ppingly beautiful view. The photos do not do it justice. The pool is lovely and being situated next the villa is ideal. Although it is quite a small pool with only limited sun beds - it never gets too busy and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a bar by the pool to get drinks, ice creams and snacks run by a kind and helpful man called Sadat and on some evenings a special get together was put on such as an 80s night with all the complex residents getting together chatting and dancing the night away. The al fresco dining area on the courtyard was where we whiled many hours away and it had such an amazing view that we cooked every night rather than going into town. The facilities in the kitchen made that possible. We didnt hire a car but managed to get to and from local places easily enough in local taxis or the local bus very economically. Gundogan village has a fruit and veg market weekly that is amazing and the produce sold by the local farmers is of a standard that beats any supermarket in England for taste. Levent the owner is wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble - we emailed him with many questions and requests prior to our trip and he responded with solutions each time promptly. He even called us during our stay to check everything was ok - he really was incredible going way beyond his role as an owner and I know we valued him very much and he added to our enjoyment and high opinion of our stay. The only down side for me was that the beach was quite a walk away and the road very steep so we didnt really venture down there as it was too hot to walk that distance uphill to get home but perhaps that says more about me!!!!! We went on a couple of day boat trips from Gundogan village - a must in my opinion - approx £20 for the whole day and you are provided with lunch and multiple stop offs in picturesque bays to jump off the boat and go swimming and snorkelling. We will all return for sure - GREAT holiday. Thank you Levent.

Mr Levent, owner, has been very helpful in making all of our arrangements from car hire and airport transfer and getting us directions to the nicest beaches in the area. The pool and ramada were wonderful. We will definitely recommend the property to our friends and family. The villa is superp and the views are breathtaking.

We thank Mr Levent Ileri for making our vacation an excellent experience. Mr Levent called us at the villa to assist us with our needs as we were interested in seeing many of the sandy beaches. The property manager called us a few times to meet our needs and he sent a repair person to fix the toilet as the flushing mechanism stopped working. They were very timely and came to the house within 2 hours. The 70 page booklet that Mr Levent Ileri prepared and sent us (also available at the villa) is a very helpful document. The service, the quality and everything we expected from renting this villa, we have been very happy and pleased. We will definitely recommend this villa to our friends and family.

We had a wonderful vacation at Mr. Ileris villa. The villa has all the amenities a house needs. We treated this house as our own as it was very well kept. The house met our expectations and we can recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy the tranquility of the Bodrum Peninsula. The pool is just a few steps away (I think 20 feet away from the house). It is located very conveniently. The villa is located near the village of Gundogan, and we were able to use the public transportation (Dolmus) to go anywhere and do our shopping. There is a nearby shopping market within walking distance. Mr Ileri has left the telephone number of the market store, and you can order food, newspapers, beer etc without any delivery charge. The market person comes to the house within 2-3 minutes. We were spoiled on our vacation and we are now back to our reality. We will definitely come back to stay at this wonderful villa. Thanks to Mr. Ileri for everything.

Villa Bahce was one of the best homes we ever stayed. We enjoyed our time with our friends and met Levents neighbors in the community. We loved the pool bar area where you can buy drinks and food very easily. The close proximity of the pool to the villa (about 15 ft) made a plus! Turkish people are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and stay for a longer period. Thank you for arranging our car hire and airport transfers, and these services were all on time and great. We appreciate that you called us at the villas telephone number to make sure that we are enjoying our time and our needs were met. Not even a 5 star hotel has ever done this to us. No more staying at hotels, and we will be your frequent customers beginning now. Thanks to Levent once again for allowing us to stay at his wonderfully decorated villa. This Villa is maintained to a high standard and is situated in a superb location for us. It has great access to the swimming pool and sea swimming. The owner adds superb personal contact and genuine interest and care to ensure our holiday was trouble free.
We would have no hesitation in reccomending this Villas as a family stay.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in and not only that the preparation and information given to us by the owner was nothing short of fantastic, nothing was left out and it was a credit to the management of the owner. The pictures on line do not do the Villa justice so if you think the pics are lovely then you are in for a wonderful surprise. Everything is provided in the Villa and the swimming pool is just next to it. The folks in this particular complex were very nice and friendly, as are the Turkish people in general, however there are a number of English residents at the complex so language is not a problem. There is now wireless internet at the pool so what could be better that that view when you are checking your emails. The owner speaks perfect English and therefore communications with him will be no trouble which certainly makes for ease of booking etc. I can not recommend this facility too highly and hope to get back there one day myself - the best scenario would be to be able to own one of these lovely Villas myself.

Thank you Mr Ileri once again for arranging all of our needs for our 2nd stay at your villa. The views are always breathtaking from your house. Unfortunately, we had an incident. My 9 year old who was playing a video game, pulled the TV from the TV stand and had damaged it. I believe that the rentalsystem security deposit I paid will cover this expense. If not, please let me know. I really appreciate your help in replacing the TV with a new one via your property manager, and thank you for your understanding of this situation, as you know kids can do crazy things. We are very fortunate that we stayed at your villa because we feel very comfortable, relaxed, and feel like this is our new summer home. Thank you again for your hospitality and we will make a new reservation soon.

what a fantastic holiday we had in august 2009 , the villa was what it described it to be luxurious,spacious & beautifully furnished. what a bonus the swimming was next door up some stairs which my 13 year old son enjoyed. The people were so friendly & helpful giving us a lift when we needed one as we didnt drive. we used the dolmuss which were every half hour.We will for sure be returning one day & will be recommending it to our friends. thanks to kathy for all her help while we were there.

This winter (Februaary-March) we spent 5 weeks at Mr. Levent Ileris beatifully decorated villa for our honeymoon. The views from the villa were wonderful. I will disagree with some of the reviews left at your web site. You do have mosquito nets for all windows and air conditioners in all rooms and living room. As in the UK, we purchased a few incents to burn on the terrace to distract the mosquitos. We did not get any bites at all. The temperature of the water at the private seaside facilities was very nice. We spent most of our times by the pool or the sea. Again, you have spectacular views of the sea, the sun, the moonlight, passing by small and sail boats. I will definitely recommend others to enjoy this villa. We enjoyed our stay in the Villa, it was clean, well equipped and it matched what we expected to find (by viewing the add photographs).
Our only disappointment was that there was no one arround to support our stay. There was only a guard in the entry of the complex, who could not talk or understand anything but Turkish.
Another point - there were no mosquitos nets on the windows - which was most unconvenient.
But in general - I do recommend this place as a nice holiday place.

My villa, Villa Bahce, does have mosquito nets on all doors and windows, and I do work with a property manager who is British and lives on the premise and she can be reached at any time by calling or stopping by her house. The new BBQ you purchased is great as we had all of our dinners on the dining terrace. The lighting and the comfortable chairs were very nice. Our family never had time in the past to talk to each other until this time, when we found your place to be a gem, quiet and relaxing. The car company came to pick us up at the airport and they even waited for us 2 hours as our flight was late. Please thank them for us. Dear Levent: Thank you for allowing us to write a review to share our opinios with other guests about you and your lovely villa. We are from Almaty, Kazakhstan, and intially we were very hesitant to book a villa online as we heard about internet frauds. You have made us so conmfortable throughout the booking process, calling us all the way from Washington, DC to Kazakhstan and you answered all of our questions very patiently and in detail. We would like to share some of our thoughts about your villa. Vila Bache is a wonderful place to rest from mad working days at work and bad mood! It is a really pleasant place located near the Turkish village of Gundogan, that has plenty of restaurants, beaches and pensions. One could taste a fresh-caught fish prepared by local cookers and enjoy a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. We visited a lot of historical places, and Ephesus was the most interest place we visited. All these ruins are very impressive and worth to see them. We have made friends with a lot of interesting people, including of course, Kathy and even your next door neigbor Peter Forsythe who is a very nice young musician.
We regret that we had no possibility to meet you personnaly, and we hope sometime we will make up for lost time. We would like to thank you for the assistance you provided - especially as for car rental as the company you recommended is a best rental service provider in our opinion.
We definitely would like to come to your villa again and again!

Levent, I am back safe and sound after such a wonderful summer. Your house was spectacular and a great place for a family reunion. I so enjoyed discovering the Bodrum peninsula and Istanbul too. I plan to write an article for our local newspaper about traveling to Turkey. Most Americans know so little about it and are afraid to travel independently there. What a shame. The Turkish people were so friendly and hospitable to me. I didn't have any experience that was negative in five weeks. And, I felt completely safe as a woman alone one week of the time. I will definitely return to Turkey in the future. As for the house and the Heredot development-beautiful. I felt the price was fair, and your help was superb throughout from booking to leaving. I enjoyed meeting your neighbors, who welcomed us as part of the community. There weren't too many people in their houses, but we found the quietness to be an asset! Let me think about improvements for renters....a coffee maker!!!! We finally found French Presses, and left them at the house when we departed. We really enjoy brewed coffee in the morning and Robin brought Star Bucks for the summer! You might also want to let people know that DVDs from the US will not work in the house unless they are copied. The originals came up as Out of Zone. I think for your long term renters an oven with a broiler would be nice. We enjoyed grilling out. We left pool stuff like noodles and a float for whoever came next, and some books. I am glad Kathy reported we treated your house as our own. We tried very hard because you have furnished it beautifully. I have come home with all kind of thoughts for my Florida home in creating an outdoor terrace with the canvas interweaving-perfect for coolness. Thanks again for helping and completing Robin’s dog travel arrangements to get his vaccination paperwork from the Bodrum government’s veterinary services and talking to the doctor on our behalf so that her dog can leave the country. So, again-THANK YOU! I was always remember this summer, and certainly will recommend your house to others!!!

Villa Bahce turned our vacation into a dream which we were pursuing for a long time. Besides minor deficiencies, the house was great. Everything is in place from furniture to electronic goods. Not to mention the beautiful bay scene lying down in front of the main terrace. Our overall experience is a very memorable and excellent one.

What a holiday we had from 21 July till 4 August with my wife. We have travelled around the world a lot and wanted something different and relaxing, also as my wife is pregnat. We booked the villa in January and Mr Ileri was in touch with us ever since with regular updates, checking our special requirements, organised a car hire for us, updated us with events and activities in Bodrum and generally built an amazing trust with us. Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa had stunning views, was so cosy with all amenities you would need - we cooked every day and enjoyed our dinners on the veranda as that was always the highlight of our day. The kitchen has everything you need - including lots of spices! The beach club that we had access to was also so relaxing. Great value for money and most of all, the best service we could ever imagine. No more holidays in hotels for us, living in a villa is the best - you set your own space, you go out if you want to and stay if you feel like it. And in this villa you feel like staying in a lot, enjoying the views, the garden the pool and everything. The Turkish caretakers of this compound were so helpful as were the other residents. Mr Ileri made us feel so welcome and we will definitely book another stay in his villa for next summer. Thank you Mr Ileri!

Excellent price for the best holiday we ever had. The villas has been decorated with a great taste. We loved the location and every morning we watched the sunrise over the Rabbit Island. The village of Gundogan is very quiet, yet relaxing. There are many internet cafes in the area for those who want to keep in touch with their work. Mr. Ileri has arranged our flight arrangements in Turkey, and also found us an excellent car at an afforable rate from a local car company. The Turkish people are very nice and friendly. Never thought of an early winter vacation (October 1-7) in Turkey would be so lovely. Thanks to Mr. Levent Ileri for arranging all of our needs prior to leaving the UK. Mr. Ileri went out of his way many times to provide us with all the information we needed, including airport transfer, car arrangements, and taxi companies prior to leaving the U.K. Probably, Mr. Ileri telephoned us every weekend with excellent feedback. Mr. Ileri’s Villa Bahce is fabulous. There is no other villa in the Bodrum Peninsula which can compete with this unique luxury villa. No words can explain the beautiful courtyard garden with lots of seating arrangements to rest peacefully, read a book, and listen to the Turkish music, while laying on the sun loungers. We felt we were at a paradise. It’s obvious that there is no need to go to Hawaii! For those who love beaches, we recommend simply going to the private seaside facilities and those who love sandy beaches, just drive to Gundogan, park in the Gundogan marina or around Migros, and get your snack or lunch on the seaside walkway and just rest, enjoy and have a great time. New, clean & fresh with everything you could need provided within the villa. Villa Bahce is very well-decorated and designed with fully-equipped kitchen and bathrooms with all the amenities, including bathroom, beach, and pool towels. Having air conditioners in all bed rooms and living room is a plus. The owner of the property, Mr. Levent, was very helpful with several e-mails and phone calls before, during, and after our holiday to answer any of our questions. A true home from home, definitely we would recommend this property.

A very clean, spacious, and luxurious villa in a lovely location. Ideal if you like to watch all the different boats and ships that sail past. A well-equipped villa with a good selection of Turkish, American and European music, Satellite TV & DVD entertainment. Although the villa is in a quiet and rural area, we appreciated this peaceful atmosphere. As the weather was not too hot we were able to do a lot of walking and exploring. At night time a short bus ride or car journey soon takes you to plenty of restaurants or the brighter lights of Bodrum. An ideal location for a relaxing holiday with easy access to all the towns in the Bodrum Peninsula. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we had stayed for two weeks.

The villa is very comfortable and well laid-out with plenty of room for us all. The property was in a beautiful position, with a breathtaking view from the patio, from which we could enjoy spectacular views of the sunrise every morning, and enjoy the sunset every evening. The villa itself was extremely well-equipped, furnished (the best we've ever experienced) and very comfortable. Lovely surroundings on the "estate" with huge pool - very often the only ones there in the morning! We also appreciated the care of the owners in the USA beforehand and after, who were keen to ensure that we had a good holiday and were extremely helpful in giving guidance and advice about the villa and surroundings, including car hire. Over all we had a wonderful holiday, and have already recommended the villa to many friends. The local bus (Dolmus) service was very reliable and cheap and we used that to travel to Gundogan, Bodrum, and other towns such as Turgutreis and Gumusluk. We also had a hire car which enabled us to explore the coastline and travel into Bodrum. The bekci (the security personnel) was more than helpful in fetching fresh bread and water, when we did not want to venture far. For those wanting a relaxing time, you could not want for anything more. We look forward to returning with friends in the future. We also thank Mr. Levent Ileri for his thorough guidance in making sure that all of our travel arrangements and comfort were in order. You are a great person! Thank you!

This was my first time visiting Turkey, although other members of my family had been on several occasions and found staying in the villa was a lot more 'personal' and relaxed with a home away from home feel. The villa incorporates luxury amenities (incl. individually controlled air conditioning in every room) with everything at your fingertips. It is situated in a pleasant quiet complex with a large swimming pool and baby/kids pool which you almost step out onto from your patio. We particularly enjoyed the roof terrace(s) for that 'all over tan' It is a short drive (5 mins) from shops and restaurants in nearby Gundogan - locals and other holiday visitors are very friendly and helpful. The villa is designed for all types of visitors from families to couples young and old or even if you just wish to get away from it all on your own! If you want to enjoy a holiday at your own pace without the hustle and bustle of busy, overcrowded hotels then this villa will most certainly meet your needs. Thanks to Levent and Lee for allowing me to stay, I will be back!!
