Kadikalesi is quiet, rural and unspoiled but friendly. There are a few local restaurants, like the family-run Kekik Beach Bar, which is excellent (the wife of the family does all the cooking), and another fish restaurant right on the beach which we tried which was also excellent. It is only five minutes or so on a dolmus from Turgutries which has more to offer in the way of bars and nightlife, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
