Dear Elaine,
We are leaving very early in the morning after another great days in fethiye.
The journey to Kas was a pleasant interruption of our lazy daily routine in Fethiye. We liked the atmosphere over there and the landscape view is breathtaking but water is ice cold and outside air very hot, just the opposite of Fethiye. We will surely come back at your place again next year or even earlier.
We will leave you a novel in French and "Moll Flanders" in Italian.
We had a great time thanks also to your lovely apartment.
You have been very generous.

We stayed from August 16-27 (extending from 23-27) at Elaines apartment. At arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find an even nicer, larger and well equipped apartment than seen online. We really enjoyed our visit there. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, look out of the balcony, surrounded by jasmine flowers, and see a beautiful bay stretching out to the horizon. The large bedroom has his bathroom « en suite » and the twin bedroom has its own well equiped one. An extra bed was offered, if needed, in the living room. The interior was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all what we needed and even more. Bathrooms towels were fresh and abundant and the bedding was excellent. The air-condition units worked perfectly.
The location is the most upscale in Fethiye, rightly so as it is half way to the best beaches and the town center and absolutely quiet.
The local supermarket, and other shops, cafes and restaurants were at 15 minutes walk away. This walk was delightful, along the promenade at the edge of the sea. But on occasion we took the Dolmus (local shuttle bus passing every 10/15 minutes) .Our favourite beach was ten bus (Dolmus) minutes away and never crowded.
The restaurant recommended were excellent. We extended our stay for four more days and asked for an option for next year.

Fethiye is a beautiful place and we had a lovely spacious apartment to enjoy it in, located just 15 minutes walk from the town. the apartment was very clean, with beautiful decor, a gorgeous view of the sea and extremely peaceful nights. All the information we needed was there for us regarding restaurants, supermarkets, emergency numbers etc..
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely will be returning soon.

Dear Elaine
We are writing this little note to say thank you for the wonderful hospitality you afforded us at your beautiful homely apartment, it made our first week in Marmaris at the so-called 5* hotel easily forgettable. Karagozler is beautiful from all angles we enjoyed our daily ramblling through the forest on your doorstep and discovering many hidden treasures in the area. The children loved it and thats saying something. How lucky you are, we are positively jealous!
I hope we have the chance to meet again.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality you showed us at your beautiful apartment, it made our first week at the 5* hotel in Marmaris easily forgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed rambling through the hills and visiting the many hidden treasures of the region. How lucky you are to spend so much time there!

hope all is well with you in london. were loving the apartment. hassan bey came and did the last curtain exactly as you wished. were going to hang out with banu soon and plan to call your hiking friend. we love living here, and its all the more special having bonded with its owner.

we enjoyed our stay but not much information if you have never been to turkey before .we had so not a problem. e.g.we had to ask neibour how to get large bottles of water delivered.also had to ring owner where to leave keys when departing.said sleeps 6 it would only fit children on sofa beds.we would go back to appartment.if owner does not put price higher

Thank you for staying at my apartment and your constructive comments. I would like to add that Info for guests are kept in the coffee table drawer. However as a frequent visitor to karagozler I felt it not necessary to tell you what you already know. Water/Gas : there is a card stuck to the fridge door with telephone number and a fresh bottle of water was requested by me one day prior to your arrival. Keys: we had discussed before you travelled where to collect keys due to your arrival time and where to leave on departure. Your call was therefore unexpected yet appreciated. Keys are always left in apartment. Beds: there are 2 folder away beds in storage. They are not kept in apartment unless required - you were only 4. There are also two large foldaway cots for babies under beds in twin room. Sofas are not for sleeping on unless under 5ft.
