A really lovely villa in a beautiful location. The sunsets really are incredible.
The communal pool and the bar next door are a nice feature but would have liked something just a "little" more lively and a better range of drinks would have made it perfect.
The minibus service is excellent but would recommend a car to get the best out of this area.
Both Gumusluk and Yalikavak are beautiful places to eat and while away an evening - quiet but lovely.

. Sunset Village is a fantastic complex and the other owners and guests made us very welcome - we (and the kids) made some new friends for life. The facilities such as the pool, bar and shuttle bus were excellent. This is are second visit to Yalivavak and highly recomend it to anyone. We are planning next years visit to Sunset Village already. Many Thanks to the owner of this superb villa
Review taken from guests who stayed at a similar villa at sunset but with no private pool.

This review was posted on villa renters by a family who stayed in an apartment at sunset village in august 2010.
Our party of 5 have just returned from what can only be classed as an excellent 2 week break away at Sunset Village near Yalikavak. Sun, pool, bar and spectacular views. We arrived in the middle of the night having picked up a car at the airport and followed the owners directions. The only hiccup we encountered was finding our way through Yalikavak. The complex itself is up a hill, overlooking the sea, and along a currently unmade road, which is interesting at times. But the complex is clean, well laid out and the staff employed there are extremely friendly and helpful. It is made up of privately owned villas and apartments centred around 2 pools. The pool was quiet and we never struggled for a sunbed. Having the bar on the site was a massive bonus and we ate and drunk there far more that we had inttended - quite often into the early hours. The apartment was extremely well equipped and it was a bonus having 2 bathrooms with 4 women in the family... The kitchen was compact but yet again well equipped with a lovely big fridge freezer, full size oven and gas and electric hob - BBQ outside. Huge bottles of water were available to order from the bar and we had fresh bread delivered to us on request. The bedrooms had plenty of storage and the views from the master was lovely. The balcony / patio were in shade for most of the day and this helped with the heat. Air conditioning was a must and worked really well during the night as we were not kept awake once due to the temperature. The pool area was lovely with a 20m pool and sunbeds. It was exceptionally clean and so were the toilets etc. Yalcin in the bar was the highlight of the holiday and all the children loved him - and the adults loved the size of the vodka and tonics. The food available was simple but honest and freshly prepared at reasonable prices. Lovely salad and the ice creams were all about ٟ or under. A bus was on hand to take people out and about when needed and complete airport runs. There is a charge for all of this however it is very reasonable. We had hired a car and made a trip to Ephesus which we enjoyed more than the children due to the heat. Overall, the complex and apartment were excellent. It is run by the owners and we will definately be returning next year. Highly recommended for those who like villa holidays but whose children are just a little bit bored by their parents company all the time. This ticked all their boxes as they made new friends and felt safe. We met some lovely families which made the holiday even better.
