Hi Barry,
Diane and I got into the rental last evening and it is VERY nice (just as we expected from your web page). Today is due to be 82 degrees with a light breeze last night sitting on the dock was heavenly!! Its gonna be a great 4 weeks you have a great place here.

Hi Barry,
Just wanted to say that our vacation at your property was amazing. My dads 90th birthday could not have been celebrated in a better way. He loved coming to the house every day and spending time with us never knowing what fun filled antics we had up our sleeves.
The size of the house worked really well for our group and once we got the hang of the pool alarm we were fine. We think your home is beautiful and is 5 star accommodations if possible we would like to rent this property again next year.

The Barnes and Christopher family had a fantastic week at Villa Pelican Dock South Gulf Cove Villa during July 2012. The villa location and excellent amenities made this week a relaxing break following a hectic week at the Orlando Theme Parks. The villa was clean, tidy and spacious and had bed rooms to cater for a large family group. Directions from the owner from Orlando Airport made it easy to locate the villa. The local gulf coast beaches were just a short car journey from the villa and easy to find. There were plenty of choices for eating out at good quality, friendly and good value restaurants in the local area. I would recommend this villa for a relaxing enjoyable holiday. Hello Barry,
We had another lovely stay, this time in your Villa Pelican Dock. It is so quiet and peaceful (so surprising for a March break in Florida!!) and we heard the birds waking us up every day. Your place is spacious and comfortable, and tastefully decorated and everyone loved it! We had some friends who were in the area over for dinner and they were amazed with your place. The pool area is so beautiful and the nearby palm trees framed in our evening sunsets perfectly. My brother was staying at your other place on Athel Drive and we all loved both places.
We visited nearby lighthouse beach regularly and went shelling and found so many shark teeth. We even had a visit from a manatee just off shore. All in all, an incredible holiday.
Thank you and hopefully well be back again sometime.

Property very nice, clean , modern and well furnished, did not like the pool alarm, i think 7 seconds to get in or out of the door is to short if you have children or holding drinks it is a nightmare when the internal 110 decibel siren goes off when really you only need a buzzer to warn that the door has been opened.
I also think the price should include the use of the BBQ and if people dont clean it then charge them, how much is a bottle of gas ? and the jacuzzi air should be included in the hire charge, but overall it was very nice and would return,

Many thanks for a great holiday and agreeing to a late departure time from the villa on Sunday.
An enjoyable time was had by all, at your villa. Its location was perfect and for us, it was a "good" find on the owner’s direct web site. We did have a couple of small problems which were dealt with promptly by Brenda. These in no way lessened the good time we had. Again many thanks Garry & Jacqueline and family UK.

This was our second time renting Barry's home in Cape Haze and we had a wonderful time once again. The home is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are a nice size and the lanai area is huge. It is a great place for children because of the size of the house or two families. Also, the management company took care of a problem we encounter promptly which was appreciated. Dear Barry, Thank you for returning so quickly our security deposit. We had a really great time. Your house is just beautiful. Brenda, your agent was just great, gave us very useful local information and sorted out the few problems we had very quickly.
The boat we rented from you for those two weeks was fabulous, so we saw a lot of the area. Did a lot of fishing and then cooked them on your grill, great fun for me and the kids.

Dear Barry. We were delighted with your Pelican Dock villa, which we felt to be very good value for money. It is very well geared for anyone interested in boating and enjoying the local waterways and wildlife! The 4 bathrooms were well appointed and adequate for our numbers. The description of the premises was accurate I would be happy to recommend it to friends. With the beaches only 12ᆣ miles away, we never had any problems keeping the kids happy. We found the pool alarm system to be a must for children’s safety and our ‘peace of mind’. We were very delighted with our 4 weeks in your lovely vacation home. Hope to come again next year?

Just a quick note to say that we really enjoyed our week at your villa in Port Charlotte. The kids were in the pool a lot and we really enjoyed the hot tub. We went for walks every day and visited three different beach areas. We had great weather that week too. Thanks for all the information in the binders. It really helped us out.

Dear Villa renters.
Overall we were delighted with Barry Eastlake's pelican dock
The villa we felt to be good value for money but although it was geared very well to anyone interested in boating we were not interested in that aspect so we probably lost out on its potential

I would be happy to recommend it to a friend but would make them aware that it was very isolated being 5 miles to the neared supermarket. Also the nearest beaches we located were a long drive away and sadly lacking in adjoining amenities eg sun beds or shade.
We found the pool alarm system, although a must from the point of view of child safety totally impractical for sensible family life. The villa we rented in Orlando had a removable fence between the poolside and the sitting area which was much more practical. We would have preferred to be able to temporarily disable the alarm in the evening when the children were in bed.
Unfortnately we were not made aware of this pool alarm system before we arrived which meant we were extremely concerned that the emergency services would be on our doorstep since obviously the pool alarm went off immediately we opened the pool door. It would have been helpful to have been made aware of the working of the pool alarm before we arrived at the property.
It was very helpful to be left a phone card and a welcome pack and it was greatly appreciated.
Although the management agent left us the note we had a few queries most of which were dealt with. Regarding the pool alarm system she said she would contact the owner and get back to us but did not. Our other queries were adequately dealt with.
Overall we were deligheted with our holiday in Pelican Dock

We were curious how much are your rates for xmas 05 for 3 weeks, I know you probably not that far ahead with bookings, but a rough idea would be helpful.
