Firstly, the property was very clean and well furnished when we arrived. The dishwasher was a godsend! I loved the fact there were lots of dvds/videos/books and games too.
We are a large family of 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 3 kids so we needed lots of space! This accommodation seemed ideal when we arrived, however the penthouse wasnt airconditioned so the 2 older kids had to sleep in the lounge as the heat, even with 2 fans, was unbearable!
The terraces are nice and private and sunbathing was great. The pool was empty most of the time so we had it to ourselves. However, dont rely on the lifeguard actually doing his job, my 10yr old got into trouble and had to be saved by someone else as the lifeguard stood by and watched!!!!
There was no cleaner during our stay so towels and beds werent changed in a week :( Slightly disappointed about this meant one towel each to last the week. There was a washing machine so we did end up washing our own things!
The supermarket is a hike as were restaurants. Id consider car hire essential. Imagine shopping for a week for a large family and having to walk back with umpteen bags for 30min hike??! Not much fun!! A car should be recommended.
The nearest route to the beach leads you straight into the nudest beach - something we wished wed been warned about! This isnt the occasional nude, there was a 15min walk to Andys beach through hundreds of naked people!
Overall it wasnt the best accommodation that weve booked with Villa renters but also not the worst!
Unsure where the golf course was, property described as over looking golf course! We took pics to show the views!
Prior to arriving at the accommodation the owners were very prompt in responding to emails and they were quick to return the deposit.

We were extremely pleased with the apartment. It was larger than appeared in the video. The apartment and complex were very clean, well maintained and furnished. Every sort of equipment you can think of was provided even down to buckets and spades.. We were a party of 2 grandparents, mum and dad, a 2 year old and a 3 month baby. Granddad was very happy to sit on one of the top balconys to get a bit of peace and quiet ! We didnt have a car and the taxi booking from the ariport went wrong, but we managed to reach the apartment easily by taking a train to Fuengirola from the airport then a bus to Artola. It is easy to get into Fuengirola or Marbella by bus as they run every half hour and take about 30 minutes..We knew we wouldnt be doing much travelling with the baby and spent quite a lot of time around the pool, which was great for all the family. The only drawback with not having a car is that it is a 25 minute walk to a supermarket - OK going but hard coming back with the shopping - we managed by taking an empty pram. There are plenty of good restaurants around the area. All in all we really enjoyed our holiday and didnt want to come home. The owners were very good answering all queries by retun of email.

This property is in an excellent location within
minutes walk to the beach and many restaurants.
The pool is lovely and never crowded most of the time we had it to ourselves.
Plenty of room in the apartment, we were a party of 2 adults and 5 teenagers so we needed the space!
I would recommend this apartment its great .

We have done quite a few villa renters holidays and we found this was the best so far. The appartment is very spacious and clean. The beaches are near to the appartment, even thought I felt a trifle over dressed on one of them! The resturants in the area were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely holiday and one day we may even return for second helpings.

We have just returned from a week at the penthouse apartment and we were very happy indeed with the apartment. I know its been said over and over, but it really was a home from home. Everything we needed was there, the daybed was my particular favourite for a few minutes peace and quiet!
The children loved the pool area (as did my daugher and son-in-law) and quickly made friends with some of the children who live there.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

We had the most peaceful, chilling time here, just what five moms needed while the children were away with school, the appartment was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more, all facilties were within walking distance if a little further than we were told, but the information we were given along with maps etc were really helpful thanks to the owners and their constant info e.mails before we flew. Pool was perfect and very private as was the rest of the apartment area, the security gates made us all feel so much safer as we had no men with us. Even though this sounds repetitive on reading all the other reviews it really is home from home. we would advise anyone to take a break here.

The apartment was exactly what had been advertised. Very good quality and very spacious. We were two families of four and found the apartment plenty big enough. Beach at cabopino port was excellent and very child freindly. Car advisable.

We had a great holiday, due in no small part to quality of the apartment and facilities provided.
There was plenty of space for our group of 8 (which included 6 large teenagers). The initial cleanliness of the apartment was excellent. The compact kitchen was well equipped which made cooking our own meals a painless option on the odd occasion that we did not fancy eating out. It felt like home-from-home with all of the sources of entertainment available (Books, DVDs, Games, Barbeque, etc).
The benefit of a shared pool is that it was large rather than one that you can't really swim around in. The pool and gardens were very well kept and never busy during our stay in July/Aug.
Thoroughly recommended.

What a wonderful villa this was! It satisfied all of our needs and provided us with a perfect place to enjoy our first family vacation to Spain. The location, the accomodations, the pool, the access to many restaurants, the many movies and cd's -- everything about this beautiful penthouse apartment was perfect!

Penthouse was in a great location, short walk to beach, nice pool. All facilities were fantastic, wish we'd read about the lady you could contact for extra towels at the start though. Property comfortably slept 4 couples and a baby. The day bed on the terrace is a winner!

"The property was nice. Three terraces with plenty of sun. The living area was very nice with a sectional couch to congregate around. Was very nice to have option of eating both inside and outside for 8. Short walk to the beach was very nice through national park. Beach itself had great sand and views. The owners were great and went out of their way to ensure we had a great vacation." David from Belgium.

The apartment is really well equipped and maintained to a high standard but is also very family friendly. Our grandchildren of 2 and 3 yrs had a wonderful time.
There are some good restaurants within walking distance and the beaches are excellent. We also appreciated the vast supply of books, films and games available.
We would be very happy to to spend another holiday here in the future.

We had a few days here in Feburary 2006 and it was practically perfect in every way! Sunny days lazing on the balcony, strolling on the beach or just relaxing. Frost in February at home in England, what more can we ask for than blue sky and warm sun. The apartment has everything, wonderful location and fabulous facilities right down to the books and CD's! Loved reading a book on the daybed in the sun. Everything we needed was here from comfy beds and sofas to well equipped kitchen and gas barbecue. We recommend a day trip to Gibraltar - about an hour and a half drive, great for tax free shopping on jewellery and electrical goods, e.g pc's..... an interesting place. We want to live here and we'll be back. Thanks.

The Cabopino penthouse is very spacious, well furnished and well laid out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return later this year. There were three other couples staying with us and with the spacious layout no one felt crowded. The three large terraces were an added bonus. Alberts and the Ranchero restaurants were terrific places to eat.
Doing business with the Mortons is a pleasure, their attention to detail is exceptional.

was more than pleased with the penthouse, had everything you could ask for and more, maybe too nice for renting out, the beach was not to far just a short walk from the apartment also anice walk not packed out with tourists wich was nice the marina was very pretty at night with good food and take out. the kids loved the pool very warm spent alot of time doing hand stands in it you may want a car if you wish to travel but we found the bus would take you to most other resorts for verry little. home from home thankyou.
