Bacór is a tranquil place with friendly people and is situated in the middle of a remarkable landscape. From Bacór you have a scenic view on the landscape and lake Negratín. From Bacór, Granada, Sierra Nevada, Sierra de Baza and Sierra Cazorla are easy to reach by car. Although quite near, the Sierra Cazorla does take a 3 hour trip to get into the valley (but it’s worth it). If your heading for Cazorla make sure you pick the eastern road from Huesa to Quesada: fantastic scenery. The only thing missing in Bacór is a simple place to eat. For a descent bite you have to go out to Baza or Guadix. If you like a place away form the busy world and don’t need to be entertained, Bacór is a good option.
