Would recommend on hireing a speedboat at pathos harbour was the best part of the holiday for all of us and reasonably priced.
Review by Karen Gunnery from Wallasey
We have been many times to Katos Pathos and find it a lovely place. The Harbour never fails to entertain and there are many places to eat and drink. Everywhere is a short drive away and has beautiful scenery. People are friendly and always there to help. Great for children. Water park great. So much to do and see and at the same time can be so relaxing and chilled out.
Review by JANET Hughes nee Prince from lincoln
really enjoyed walking along the harbour in the evening, lovely atmosphere, relaxing, dining along side the harbour was our favourite and the food was superb. Sevice and the friendliness of the people was just first class, love Paphos and cant wait to return sometime next year.

paphos is fantastic it has every thing you could need! try the mandra restaurant its out of this world
Review by Brendan Shipley from Billingham
Kato Paphos could be a very nice resort. It's spoiled by the Bar Street area. Too many English style noisy and scruffy pubs at night, the place looks like a ghost town during the day. It's dirty and has a distinct lack of quality.
The harbour has a more laid back style, the small beaches in the town are well kept and clean. The resort could be a very good one, unfortunately it has pandered to the chavs to make an easy buck.
Review by Elaine, Bernie & Pippa ONeil from Inverness
Kato Paphos is very nice and well located for a range of activities. If you have a hire car then you have an even wider range to do within a short distance. We used to live in Cyprus and found it really cheap and so were shocked by how expensive it has turned since joining the EU. Alot of the shops in Kato Paphos still price there items in Cypriot £ on the labels and so make sure that you check properly or you will get a nasty shock when you get to the checkout and its converted into the Euro!
Review by David Osborne from Southend on Sea
Kato Paphos is a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year. Just 4 hours from all main English airports and just 10 minutes from the refurbished Paphos airport.
Historically rich but also has a lively nightlife if you choose.
Certainly somewhere my family will look to visit again.
Review by Christine Mackay from Muscat, Oman
Everything we needed on the doorstep from shopping, eating, watersports as well as historic and cultural places to visit.
Review by Frances Divit from Edinburgh
Kato Paphos is one of the most relaxing and interesting places to visit. The very friendly and helpful locals help to make Kato Paphos one of the best places to visit in Europe. The very picturesque harbour and castle area is the best place to chill out whilst enjoying the views and sipping a nice glasss or two of wine. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity only to be found in Kato Paphos.

Kato paphos was a nice, clean lively place. There was plenty to do including watersports, the aqua park, mini golf and lots of night life.
Review by Brian Gidley from Preston
Super area for family
Review by GUY RAMIREZ from PARIS
By the sea, at two steps of the mountains, Paphos is undoubtedly the best destination to meet Cyprus.
An ideal place to radiate according to its own tastes towards the deserted beaches, an accessible campaign or a more 'traditional' estival agitation.
The city is preserved still enough of the errors of hypertouristic development and tribes of hooligans. (Pourvu que ça dure!)
Review by Mollie Settle from Leeds
Kato Pathos is a lovely place ideal for families and couples. It has good restaurants that range in value some being rather expensive. There is plenty to do and in the evening the harbour front comes alive.I would recommend one of the many boat trips we did one of the evening cruises which we really enjoyed and was excellent value. There is plenty of shops to spend your money in and even if you are not self catering the big supermarkets are worth a visit! The best restaurant by far both for the food and value for money is Fat Mamas on The Tomb of the Kings road!
Review by Joanne McDonald from Stalybridge
Due to the lack of rainfall on the island, during the last 18 months, most places were quite dusty. This was therefore, NOT a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, but wished we had booked for 2 weekS. Maybe next time!!

Kato pahos is an excellent place to go. Cyprus has become quite expensive now with the Euro but the bars on the tomb of the kings road are good value. Alfi Ti's - Good low priced drinks and entertainment. Ben's bar was by far the cheapest with largest measures and the food was gorgeous. Tramps was also another good bar for drinks and food. If you go down to the new pedestrian promanade near the harbour look out for a restaurant called Camares 12.50 Euro for a three course meal incliding wine, coffee and a brandy. Actually at the harbour look out for Hobo Cafe, Food here is excellent and reasonable prices. If you can find it at the back of bar street search out Zorros for a cheap beer.

There are many restaurants to cater for all tastes and pocket. The selection of shops are extensive and varied and when you are tired, the harbour provides the ideal place to sit and relax and enjoy a drink.
Review by Virginia Freeman from Grimsby
Paphos is still a great place to holiday for the family but it has become much more expensive since our last visit. There is a lot of building work and road works around Paphos at the moment but it is still a great place to go.
Review by john robinson from leeds
Koto Paphos is a relatively quiet ( at least in March it was) compact rsort with sufficient good restaurants & bars for us to eat at a different one each night. There is significant building work which is intrusive if nearby.

As cyprus serves children alcohol you have to be very careful if you have teenagers as they do tend to get ripped off easily. But it is probably one of the safest locations for children that i have been to. No need to worry what your kids get up to they can go exploring and be quite safe (within reason of course) we never saw any sign of any trouble whatsoever. I really good place with a great balance of nightlife and tranquility. cyprus has it all!!!
Review by Karen Wiltshire from Bramley
People are very friendly. Loads of restaurants from McDonnalds to good quality Italian. Good beaches, plenty to see and do.
Review by James Parfett from wokingham
Paphos, Cyprus is a great destination if you are looking for great weather, good value accomodation, a large selection of restaurants, some interesting historical sites, easy access from airport ( but no areoplane noise), waterports, friendly locals, English spoken most places.
Some parts are quite commercial and would get noisy in high season.
Review by Peter Isaacs from Christchurch
Kato Paphos is a small harbour that leads to a castle at the far end. The worlds greatest mosaics are situated just off the harbourside. Ther are many shops and restaurants open until late, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting at one of these restaurents by the waterside enjoying a meal and a drink watching the sun set. Kato Paphos is a place for people of all ages.
Review by mary & gerry finn from manchester
we found kato paphos first of all friendly. also very dusty. we hope who ever goes there likes cats, there are lots of them. where we stayed, it was off the main road, we were only 3mins walk from the bars and a good selection of eating places, happy to say, you could'nt hear any noise from the villa. beach at the bottom of the road, shale beach, would have prefered white sand. but you cant have it all. supermarket 5mins up the road, very reasonable. most of the bars has football matches on , that was a hit with gerry. beach provided loungers. if you want to go out and about, car hire is everywhere, maps are free in all of the bars. hire a car to see the island, well worth seeing, especially the small villages.
