Not as touristic as other parts of the island. The main hotel is The Silver Sands Hotel and there are a couple of other hotels, but that's all. So if you don't like to be surrounded by lots of other tourists this is idealistic. It is safe and the people are very friendly.
If you are looking for good nightlife, restaurants and shops. This is not the place and although buses run frequently and taxis are not expensive you might one to consider other areas.
