Xativa is a beautiful, historic town. As you approach the town you immediately see the castle. It is well worth a visit. We went by tram which gave us the opportunity to see more of the town with historical commentary. The only down side of going by tram is that you only have 1 hour at the castle which isnt long enough to see everything. There is an array of shops suiting every taste and age. There are narrow, quaint streets perfect for strolling along.

The town of Xativa has a tricky one way system,and limited parking,the main point of interest being the fortifications on the hill behind the town which I flew over in a microlight,courtesy of Derek Holman at www.newhorizonsmicrolights.com.

Very peaceful location, villa very well equipped. Nice pool and sunbathing area overlooking the mountains. Close to village and bigger town for all shopping requirements. Would recommend to friends and family.

Xativa is a lovely authentic Spanish town, that is very welcoming. There are plenty of shops, bars, and restuarants, and we enjoyed the weekly market. We have also been during the fiesta times and near Christmas, and the parades are great
