Zanzibar...an amazing island, you could almost smell the wonderful spices hanging in the air...the island is filled with history, I could not help thinking walking through Stonetown that the only thing missing was Bogart himself...
Snorkling was among the best I have experienced...and we even got to swim in the wild with the dolphins.
There is so much to see and do...from the Colobus monkeys...the spice tours...walking tours of the old city including the area that was once the historical slave trade market to snokeling, sunset cruises on the historical dhow sailing vessels, fishing, and who could forget the experience of swimming daily in the Indian Ocean...the waters are so warm and buoyant...at one point after the tide had come in over the hot sand...the water was warmer than the average bath.
You will not soon forget your visit to Zanzibar...it really is unforgettable.
