Outside the season Alanya is an absolute winner, too! A lot of shops and restaurants are closed, but still it remains a welcoming place to stay - maybe even more so than in Summer, when Alanya is loaded with tourists, which of course adds to the great atmosphere. In any case, in all seasons Alanya remains a beautifully located city, with sea on one side, and mountains on the other.
