The town of Alcossebre is quiet but delightful and as yet relatively undiscovered by tourists. There are a great range of restaurants and well stocked supermarkets/shops. If you want to relax the beaches are superb - sandy and unspoilt with a great walk all along the coast. Also there are many more scenic walks just inland, as well as the opportunity to hire a bike and cycle along the coast or into the nearby nature reserves that border Alcossebre. Nearby towns are easy to reach by car and provide great places to visit and explore. The driving is relatively easy as roads are quiet. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and most spoke English! A lovely holiday destination - we had a great time and will return!
