Alharin De La Torre is quite a charming place, if your driving from Malaga you will not drive through the area where the banks are situated so if you want the centre its best to park up and take one of the many side streets and walk into the centre where all the shops and restaurants are. The town itself has lots of new developments going on, as I have been told a lot of the business professionals who work in Malaga now live there and commute to Malaga. As you drive through the town they have some lovely designed roundabouts with enormous water features and brightly coloured displays. Be aware as you approach these roundabouts as they have two speed ramps as you approach them which are not visible at night. Overall well worth a visit even if its just to watch the old fellas in the town square have a chat or playing dominoes or just to chill and have a nice cool drink and take in the atmosphere yourself.
