Benitses is quite small yet bustling town/village! It is full of lovely places to eat and drink. The village comes alive about 8'o clock in the evening. There are a variety of entertainments on offer at places such as Little Havana beach bar and Hotel Potalaki, such as the Kandi Girls dance show, the fire show, and many others. The beach is stoney but there are plenty of sunbeds on offer and the view, especially at sunset is fabulous. There are watersports if you want them.
The place has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Although we did visit other places, we would also have been quite happy to stay in Benitses all the time and soak up the relaxed, laid back atmosphere and eat relentlessly! (The pina coladas and ice cream waffle puddings at cafe Verde in the village centre are fabulous)
This is a lovely destination if you are not looking for the formula hotel package with mainly English people. The variety of nationalities is far more interesting! We recommend Andromaches apartments- they provided a very pleasant stay.
