The town of Bergerac is not my favourite place. No matter, Perigeux is not that far away and is lovely. St Foy le Grande, which is the style of Bergerac is a much better place too.
Review by James Butler from London
This is an inexpensive destination, low cost flights from the UK and when you get here you can eat out in good restaurants that are value for money. This is rural France at it's best, full of history and beautiful countryside probably some of the most spectacular sites anywhere in Europe (La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Vallee de la Dordogne). A car is essential to be able to visit everywhere.
