Although there are many apartments and villas,the area is not overly busy. There is always room by the shared pool, and the immediate area is quiet and peaceful. the streets are clean, and patrolled by security guards,we felt safe and were able to let the children go to the pool and supermarket unaccompanied without worrying about them.There are many golf courses nearby,and a supermarket is just around the corner. There is a local centre with a few restaurants and bars and a pharmacy within walking distance,which is still in development, so will have other facilities opening up in the near future. You need a car to get to the beaches, but there are several really nice ones within a few miles.Also it is only a short drive to Torrevieja, where there is a street market , lots of restaurants and fairground open every evening.Campoamor Golf is a peaceful and tranquil base for a holiday, from where beaches, shopping , cultural attractions and natural parks are all easily accessible by car.

 we were put into an appartment that had faults,no running water for 2 day,s,broken shutter blind for the whole week,no veranda furniture,no pool key,had to clean the apparment from builders dust,no clothes airer,and lots of little things,like no tea pot,sugar bowl,milk jug,egg cups,no microwave,shutter in kitchen not working,but the apartment was lovely.there were two spanish rep,s zoe and peter they never once came to see how we were doing,as far as they knew we had no water .
