Charente-Maritime is an excellent place to visit if your intention is to escape the worries and stresses of everyday working life. The people are very friendly and endeavour to make you feel welcome. The pace of life is relaxed, the scenery a wonderful mixture of rolling fields and colourful trees, the traffic minimal. We would strongly recommend Charente-Maritime.
