Coin was mostly untouched by tourism and we loved it. No concrete jungle and a touch of the real Spain.
The area has everything including shops, restaurants, supermartkets, bowling alley and a multi-screen cinema.
We will be back, as Arnold would say!!

The property was in a separate 'urbinisation' in between Alhurahin and Coin. Bars + small restaurants to choose from there. In August most Andalucian villages/towns have a feria ( festival) either happening, about to happen or happened, which gives a good vibe to most places. Nearby Mijas and Ishtan are worth a visit for historical interest . 25min drive will take you to the coast -Marbella, Fuingerola - wrth a look/drive through but rather too busy on the beaches in August. 1hr scenic drive away is Rhonda which spans a spectacular gorge and definately worth a day out.
