Annual events in Costa Blanca...
The festivals of Spain are both plentiful and spectacular. The Costa Blanca celebrates all the national festivals along with some more local ones. An important one is the ‘Virgen Del Carmen’ festival held on the 16th of July. On the 22nd of April, the festival of the Moors and Christians takes place and is celebrated with fireworks, parades and costumed battles. This is best witnessed in Alcoi.
