The Costa Brava was where it all started in Spain tourism. Here you will find some of the best tourism resorts…but also some of the worst. So be careful what you choose. There is a bustling nightlife scene, especially in the resort of Lloret del Mar where you will find the 18-30 club. There are also various theme parks for more family based entertainment.
If one is to go to the Costa Brava, it must be made sure that an exploration inland must be made. It isn’t all about the fantastic beaches and resorts. The Costa is home to some of the most beautiful scenery is all of Spain and is quite far away from anything else. The coast has some fantastic cliff sides and is actually quite rocky. You will find many different landscapes too from soft sandy shores, green hills and valleys and dramatic mountain Sierras that when winter comes around become top skiing resorts. As you go further inland you will discover the charming landscape of rural Spain. So as you can see the Costa has many different sides and characteristics making it a very diverse and interesting place to visit. Here you can explore and discover some of the prettiest villages and spectacular views but retreat back to the tourist havens on the coast.
