During your visit to Costa Brava you must see...
It has already been said how versatile the Costa Brava is, so it is not hard to find a place of interest that suits you. You can take part in some of the fun offered in the numerous theme parks, explore the fantastic inland or take in some of the Spanish culture from the various museums and galleries. The three most popular theme parks are Port Adventura, Waterworld and Marineland. Port Adventura is situated in the Costa Dorada but is well within reach. It is operated by Universal so it has a very Disneyland feel. It is split into different ‘lands’ like China, Polynesia and the Mediterranean port. There are various rides suited to all ages. Waterworld is just half an hour away from Lloret de Mar and is an excellent water with some brilliant rides. Marineland is a dolphin and Sea Lion park where you can see the animals perform tricks daily.
A trip to Barcelona is a must. It may be a two hour train journey but is definitely worth the ride. Barcelona is one of the most cosmopolitan and culturally rich cities in the world. Here you can lap up the fantastic architecture of Gaudi, visit the Picasso museum, or stroll down Las Ramblas.
