great sense of history in the area

Kilkenny Castle is a wonderful place to visit , full of History .
The Kilkenny design centre opposite the Castle is full of Irish craft , and you will find a gift for everyone ( and maybe one or two for yourself ! )
Kilkenny city is a bustling place with lots of good shopping and very nice restaurants , however it remains fairly unspoilt which is a joy to see .
