It was my first visit to Ireland and I was delighted and surprised that everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. We covered the best part of a thousand kms in touring and everywhere we visited looked beautiful. I experienced more courtesy on the road in one day than I do in 6 months in my own home town. Everywhere appeared to be clean and tidy, hardly any litter, no graffiti or rubbish spoiling the views. I have nothing but praise for the areas and towns which I visited and the only negative point which I can make is that - cost of living is high.
