The area is clean and well kept. There are numerous restaurants and bars catering for all tastes. The area feels safe and children are able to enjoy the vast clean beach.

The beach area and restaurants are some of the best in the area and it is close enough to Marbella and Puerto Banus but has the advantage of the quiet of a beach side location.

The Alicate beach area is one of the best between Marbella and Fuengirola as the beach is excellent, the beach restaraunts superb and the sea has a gently sloping drop so its safe for the children.
All the services are close at hand with supermarkets, bars and eateries just a short walk away.
No wonder Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith have their beach home there.

Just the chill-out we needed - the kids amused themselves at the beach and pool - while we enjoyed the sun, sea and Spanish wine

A quiet area with an outstanding beach. Family friendly with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.
