We thought Falmouth a central location for touring Cornwall. It also provided us with beautiful views, convenient shopping and pleasant walks. Particularly enjoyed the RNLI-Falmouth tour.

My husband was born in Mabe, near to Falmouth, 73 years ago but went 'up country' to serve an apprenticeship and met and married me, 44 years ago. So we have known Falmouth a very long time as we still have relatives and friends there and now our son has settled there for the moment, so it has all come full-circle, so to speak. We have always loved Falmouth and visit as often as possible and have seen ups and downs over the years, particularly with the Docks. Christmas Eve and the Docks Choir singing Christmas Carols through the town is a special memory. Falmouth is an amazing town with so much going on, great places to shop and in which to eat. We can't live there - too pricey - but we value all the time we spend there.

A good base to explore more of Cornwall with the advantage of coming back to an interesting place for the evening. Good transport links too

The apartment was excellent and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, all rooms were very nice (the children loved the "nautical" room). The view from the bedroom and the living room was magnificent! To top it all, the apartment was situated very close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely recommend this apartment to anyone going to Cornwall

Plenty to do in Falmouth.First class Maritime Museum.Boat trips.Clean supervised beaches.Variety of shops and places to eat reasonably priced.Friendly and helpful local people.
