Flayosc really was what one needs--small grocery stores, a fish market, bakery, butcher, news stand, and more than it's share of reasonable, good restaurants. Not quite as squeaky clean as some other more touristy towns like Tourtour, but then again, not exactly overrun with tourists, either.
Review by Derek Francis from Romford
Flayosc is a working village and takes a few days to get used to, but once one adapts to the rythme of hte place it is an adorable life style typical of french style, coffee and criosants at ten, followed by some local walks or bike rides then the evening time when the village springs back into life, withj some form of entertainment .
After four weeks we did not want to leave

OUR FAMILY ENJOYED FEELING A PART OF THIS MAGICAL VILLAGE. IT IS AWAY FROM THE TOURISTS AND CROWDS OF OTHER TOWNS, BUT CONVENIENT TO WONDERFUL NEIGHBORING SITES THAT WERE RECOMMENDED TO US. AFTER A DAY OUTING, WE ALWAYS FELT HAPPY TO RETURN TO OUR TEMPORARY HOME IN FLAYOSC. THE PEOPLE IN THE TOWN WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO HELP. OUR FRENCH WAS MARGINAL, BUT WITH A LITTLE PRACTICE AND ENCOURAGEMENT FROM THE LOCAL FOLKS, WE WERE ABLE TO APPLY SOME NEW "FRENCH" WORDS INTO OUR VOCABULARY AND EVENTUALLY FELT A PART OF THIS TOWN. I CAN IMAGINE COMING BACK FOR A LONGER STAY TO PRACTICE FRENCH, PAINT, AND READ BOOKS! VERY DESIRABLE!! WE HOPE TO RETURN.

Flayosc is a wonderful little village. It also has a wine co-op where you can buy the locale wine. It is delicious. The people are friendly and they have many restaurants. It is very picturesque and new many wineries and other villages. There are many places to visit in the Le Var region as well

A basic studio in a friendly and lively village with authentic French atmosphere and varied entertaintment from the several restaurants situated in the village. Ideal spot from which to tour the area.
Review by Janet Porter from Sydney
Flayosc is a quiet small town, very picturesque on arrival, but a little tired on further inspection. We had booked for 4 nights (we left after the 3rd). Perhaps, if we had been able to spend a day in the town we would have gone away with a warmer view of the place. We always left in the morning (when the square was cold) and we arrived back in the afternoon (when the square was very cold and windy) ... not conducive to sitting and having a coffee/pastis in the square and getting to know the locals!
