This is a very quiet area of Turkey. If peace and tranquility is what you need then this is the place for you. To enjoy the resort fully you will need a car, as some of the resaurants are high on the hill side. I would recomend this to eny one who wants to get away from it all for a while.

Stunning bay views and spectacular sunsets. Conveniently located for exploring Yalikavak and Turgetreis. Scenic drives to both towns to explore with stop offs at various beaches. Enjoyed wading out to Rabbit Island in the cool Aegean sea. The waters are crispy clear and very inviting.Ideal place for couples, families and friends to visit and of course guaranteed sunshine, blue skies and blue water every new day you wake up there!.Both relaxing and exciting to visit.

Gumusluk has a nice atmosphere with lovely market stools in the evenings selling a variety of localy produced crafts and jewlery and a good selection of restuarants with a good selection of fish in very scenic locations on the front.
Review by Nicola Johnson from Dundee
Gumusluk is set on a stretch of pebbled beach, with shallow ,calm, warm water. Although the beach itself is narrow it is uncrowded and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds that can be used free of charge. There are some lovely restaurants set along the shore who offer affordable meals snacks and drinks. All fish is caught locally and is very very fresh. Some water sports are available including snorkeling and boat hire. At night time the area comes alive with many traders selling locally made wares at rock bottom prices.
There is a Dolmus bus Service that runs every 15 minutes into the nearby towns of Yalikavak and Turgetres, both of which have a weekly market, a must see for the bargain hunters.
If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the stresses and strains of modern life then I cant recommend Gumusluk enough!!!! We will surley be back.

Gumusluk is the kind of place you dont want to many people to find out about.
Its breathtaking scenery, fantastic service, value for money and unbelievable choice of restaurants
makes it a most see destination. The public transport is such good value for money and the friendliness of staff everywhere makes it a place you want to always return to.

Gumusluk is a wonderful, unspoilt fishing village on Bodrum peninsula.
Great for swimming and snorkeling.
The ruins of ancient city of Mindos can still be found under the sea.
Lots of pretty restaurants which offer great selection of fish and good value for money.
Be sure to take a walk out to Rabbit Island for a fantastic view of Gumusluk itself!
Review by Lynn Young from Congleton
The residential areas around Gumusluk are mainly populated with privately owned villas and appartments. The main focus of Gumusluk is on the fishing village where there is a high proportion of fish restaurants. However only minutes by car takes you to the more lively resort of Turgutreis with a beach and wide range of bars and restaurants. A peaceful resort within 45 minutes from Bodrum, Gumbet and Bitez.
Review by Marcus Nolan from Staines
An amalgam of a modest harbour for fishing and berthing for pleasure boats of various sizes alongside a family beach flanked by numerous fish restaurants all vying in a respectful friendly way for your custom with the added bonus of the waters edge just feet away. All this knowing that the historic city of Myndos lurks beneath the shoreline beyond.

Gumusluk is one of the most picturesque places we have been to in Turkey. Peaceful and quite, with terrific views.

The ancient village of myndos is the place to chill. You will return from your holiday feeling totally relaxed.
Review by Kim LAXTON from sOUTHAMPTON
Gumuskaya is about a mile from Gumusluck, and is a purpose built holiday area. The veiws are stunning across the bay.
Area not suited to anyone with walking difficulties it ia vey hilly, also youngsters may not appreiciate the peace and quite as there is is'nt any local night life or local bars apart from the restaurants in nearby village of Gumusluck.
As it was near the end of the holiday season the dolmus times changed and you must be aware of this (there is a timetable at the Dolmus Station) or you will need to get a taxi back to the place where you are staying.
Shopping is not a problem as there are plenty of Supermarkets in Bodrum and Turgutries.
I have been holidaying in Turkey since 1988 and this was my best destination ever
