When you see the impressive entrance to highgate park the first thing you see is the gates which look like an entrance to another world.As you wait for the gates to majestically open you wonder what lies on the other side,you drive through as they slowley close behind you leaving you with a feeling of security a feeling that only a select few could come through those gates.Once inside you see the well kept lawns and houses on streets that seem to be regimental in style yet welcoming,what also strikes you is the peace and quiet that no matter how much noise you make it would be dulled in the sheer size of the estate,yet you also feel that you could talk to your neighbours and be welcomed.If you want security,if you want privacy if you want freinds then highgate park is what you want...

This is a perfect vacation spot to enjoy time away with your family. I am considering coming back with a few friends just to rest. My family really enjoyed our vacation and can't wait to come back next year. I finally found a perfect, affordable vacation spot.

We loved Highgate Park! It is a gated community where we felt safe, secure and secluded but were still not far from everything we needed i.e. shops, restaurants etc. A really lovely location we very much hope to return to!

This location was off the beaten path, but not far from necessities, Wal-mart for groceries and souvenirs was close by. In the other direction on hwy27 was Publix (grocery store)and several restaurants such as Applebees (the food was great there). Highlands golf was good, rental clubs were excellent.

Florida is absolutely stunning, great for the family and for the kids. Davenport is little know in comparison to Kissimmee and Orlando but is perfectly placed for Disney and all the surrounding parks. The highways are of a high quality and your able to get to any of the parks in less than 15 minutes.
Being so close to the 192 that runs into Kissimmee means that you are very close to the shopping and restaurants in the Kissimmee area and then straight up the I4 you have Orlando itself.
Around Davenport you have a couple of Publix supermarkets, pizza, Chinese, India and steak houses as well as less than 10 minuets away you have a choice of 2 Wal-Marts, one in either direction.
