The Italian Restaurant in Kamnik is a must to visit as is the ice cream parlour accross the road. If you are self catering in Kamnik the place to shop is the big mercator supermarket (there are two one small and one big) where you will find everything you could possibly need including very good cheap wine. Kamnik is a good base location from which to visit numerous places of interest.
