Karagozler is a part of Fethiye and is mainly residential but with a few hotels and hostels. Quiet area but close to all the amenities of Fethiye..about a 6/7 min walk. The area overlooks the marina and you can then walk around to where all the boats for hire and day trips are moored in front of restaurants and bars. Fethiye itself is a large place compared to the likes of Kas or Kalcan but doesnt feel that its too big. The advantage is that it is much closer to the airport. Gocek is close by and this is the opposite, too quiet and small for a holiday longer than a week. Lots of places to eat at night and during the day. Would definately return.

Lovely quiet residental area above the harbour with fantastic view over the whole of Fethiye Harbour and the marina.

provides opportunities for all families, boat trips, diving, restaurants, without being overly touristy. We chose to sunbathe by the pool all day and eat out at night but most other families were active. everything to hand whatever 'floats your boat!'

Karagozler is a fabulous part of Fethiye to stay. It is facing the marina, with a short walk to the main harbour and old town. Dolmus to town centre runs at bottom of the road, that links to either Calis & Olu Deniz.
Because it is set on the hillside, the views are great and changing all the time, and usually mosquito free.

The area is not packed with tourists and has some fantastic historical sites close by such as the Lycian Tombs and Kaya Village.
The harbour is very pretty and there are lovely restaurants around the marina. If you fancy a day at sea these are easy to arrange and good value for money.
There are some lovely beaches nearby and the public transport system is very cheap and easily accessable if you fancy exploring other areas.
