Review by Phillip Gilbert from Sheffield

The complex it was on was perfect. We felt very safe and secure and everybody was friendly. The area was in an urbanization with a mixture of nationalities on either holiday lets or permanent residents, all very friendly and helpful. There were some amazing restaurants within 10 minutes drive of the complex and some very nice beaches etc to go to. We will definitely return to the area again.

There was alot of road works going on at the time of our holiday but it was all very controlled  and organised. There was no hold ups or delays or traffic jams due to this.

There was not much entertainment of an evening after we had been out for our meal other than go to a local cafe somewhere and have a coffee or go to a multitude of supermarkets -  which by the way close at 9pm. The only place where we found it entertaining was on the Sunday evening where we headed into Torrevieja (not sure if i spelt it right) everyone had come out in their thousands, all the locals had put on their Sunday best and had made a real effort. The whole road had been laid out with stalls selling various things and their was a fair for the children (which i found to be very expensive). But overall it was a lovely evening.

In La Chismosa itself apart from being spoilt for choice of which beach to go to everyday. There was on Saturday morning a market which was nice to go to.

Overall La Chismosa was a lovely town to visit but to be honest with you if it wasnt for the fact we had relatives over there we would of not known about these places to go.

We even ventured out one day and went to Benidorm for the day which was really lovely.

Overall we had a lovely week in La Chismosa.

La Chismosa is very much an up-market urban area with many new deveopments blending with older, more traditional style homes and apartments. Building work is complete within the area which helps foster a tranquil and peaceful setting perfect for a relaxing break or holiday. However, the area is well placed for access to various modern shopping developments, which also offer different styles of restaurants and bars while not forgetting the many beautiful beaches and quiet coastal coves only 10mins away by car.

Nice quiet area close to beach with good local restaurants and friendly locals. Also easy access to two airports and great golf courses. Night life not far away and lots of places of interest to visit.
