Liberac region was a lovely place to visit. It is excellent for walking and cycliong with very clearly marked paths that were very much used by locals and tourists alike. The thing we enjoyed about this area was that it didn't feel as if tourism had hit it in a big way. We enjoyed being the only english car around! We were able to speak a smattering of German which did help with the communication but any Czech people we found who did speak English were more than happy to help us. It's a great place to visit - we felt as if we were visiting somewhere a little different.
