Lomas Del Golf was a very clean, safe holiday destination as a family we enjoy long walks and this was a great starting point.
The site was very clean and seeing security at all times of the day was a welcome sight, everyone we met was very friendly and we have already started to sing its praises to everyone back home.

Lomas Del Golf is easily accessible from Alicante or Murcia via the local motorway system. It is however quite remote and unless you want to stay at the villa for your entire stay, you will need a hire car. The bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance for most people but the supermarket is a little further away, only 5-10 minutes by car but rather a long walk with bags of shopping. The local roads are easy to navigate and are worth exploring to see the lemon groves and greener scenery. Also they are worth using to avoid the tolls.
Everyone we met was very friendly and the quality of food and drink was excellent. The local Cheers Bar does an excellent value for money carvery. Restaurants at the Plaza we found had changed since our last visit and were a little more expensive. I am sure that this is the same everywhere. The first thing that would strike a newcomer to the area is the shutters and bars on the windows of the villas. We have always felt safe during our visits and quite happily walk around the complex at night. All that is required is a little common sense, keeping valuables out of sight and secured in the villa's safe, when going out. No different to any other holiday resort. I thoroughly recommend Lomas Del Golf to anyone.
