Really nice area, have been afew times now.Lots of resturants to chose from and most are good value for money.El mirador is a safe, quiet area and most of the villas are unoccupied during the week. The roof top terrace and balcony are of a very big size and are both sun traps perfect for hard core sunworshiping.Villa is well equiped and of a good standard.Would definatly go back.

My husband and myself have done all long haul holidays never thought about Tenerife till we became older, sadly, this was our first time here and loved every moment of our holiday in los Cristianos coming back for xmas. Wish we had been here many years ago a special place in our book and do hope we can have many more years ahead.
Review by Susan Harvey from Tamworth
Los Cristianos is like a home from home. The first time we went we felt very settled and safe, although we are only a couple it is also ideal for families as there is plenty for the little ones to do.
Los Cristianos is whithin easy walking distance of Playa de las Americas but offers a quieter retreat, there are a multitude of restaurants and bars and I challenge anyone to try them all. Everyone is very friendly and eager to please, they can't do enough for you when you enter their establishment and we found all the food was of a high standard and at a very good price. There are many hotels and apartments but just a short walk to the town and harbour and you can sample some exquisite cuisine.
We will certainly return and look forward to re-visiting some old favourites and finding some new ones too.

Amazing holiday with very informative and helpful hosts.

We loved the seafront, harbour area and the Port Royale complex. Our only gripe is the constant touts with scratch cards and bogus surveys and supermarket intros. They have taken over from the time share people who used to drive you mad. They have turned me into Victor Meldrew!
Review by Christina Watcham from Farnborough
It is an all round place to go, something for everybody, be it adventure, relaxation or a family holiday! Its a lovely place to go and I go every year and twice a year!
Review by Margaret McIntosh from Scotland
Excellent choice of restaurants within easy walking distance - overall good value for money.

Los Cristianos is not for young teenagers looking for wild nightlife.
In April time anyway, it is full either young families or older ,possibly retired couples.
Review by June Mathieson from Aberdeen
Los Cristianos is where you get the best of both worlds. More peaceful than Playa De Las Americas but within easy reach if you need a livelier nightlife. All the apartment complexes and hotels look lovely and the streets and pavements are kept very clean. The trees, plants and shrubs are exceptionally well maintained and we were most impressed with the skill of topiary. There is an excellent selection of bars with excellent entertainment, shops & good restaurants and it's a lovely walk along the promenade all the way to PDLA. There is still some construction work being carried out along the promenade but the small amount of disruption will be well worth it once this has been completed.
We found Los Cristianos to be a very friendly and relaxing area and will definately visit again.

Wonderful quiet place that is walking distance to beach and shopping in the centre of Los Cristianos. Nightlife is fun and exciting for all ages. Please be aware of street sellers, they appear everywhere!. Apart from that lovely area to explore and will be visiting again as we did not mange to do everything we wanted in a week !

Excellent location for short breaks and scuba diving.

Los Cristianos, Tenerife is a lovely place for a holiday and we would certainly go there again. The whole area is very well laid out, and even the traffic roundabouts are beautifully planted up with shrubs and trees. The beach area is nice and not too crowded. The shops and restaurants are excellent - we didn't have one disappointing meal and we ate out every night! Most of the pubs had some type of entertainment and we were spoilt for choice. We had a boat trip to see dolphins and whales in their natural environment which was absolutely fantastic and we also travelled on the cable car up to Mount Teide. The views were incredible and I won't forget it in a hurry! There were many other trips on offer, but we were very lazy and as the weather was beautiful, we spent lots of time just relaxing around the pool, which was exactly the kind of holiday we wanted.

Typical tourist area. Very few traditional spanish places. Watch out for people trying to trick you into hearing a presentation about a travel company on the pretext that you've won a prize.
Not somewhere I would have gone in the evening with young children, possible too many young tourist adults.

Too many old people
Review by Beryl Bauchope from Fifehead Magdalen
We found it clean & well looked after, no litter about, lots of lovely flowers & greenery, people VERY friendly and helpful, good choice of things to see & do. We found it well worth the money and not at all expensive, we had breakfast, lunch and evening supper out the whole week. We hope to come back, maybe next year as all 4 of us really enjoyed it and was not disappointed.

We have been visiting this resort for more than 20 years on and off and have seen many changes however there is something for everyone here whatever you may be interested in. Access to other parts of the Island is easy from here with many local bus services if you do not want to drive or use organised excursions. There are numerous sea trips and water sports also. Excellent resort.

Los Christianos has been our families winter sun holiday for the last five years. Los Christianos offers everything for all people , family and friends. We have always had beautiful weather both at Christmas and later in the year. The people are very friendly and love children. There are a whole host of lovely eateries that cater for all tastes. We all love the beaches and have fully explored the island. We find we can totally relax and unwind and are sure we will continue to holiday there for many years.
Review by Mark Skermer from Birmingham
All Los Cristianos needs is to get rid of the time share reps and take a few pointers from Playas De Las Americas where the shopping facilities, restaurants and beach front are a vast improvement, we hired a car and although the road network in and around Los Cristianos, Playa De Las Americas and Adeje are very confusing it is still the best way to explore the area. there were also many clean and tidy taxis available which I was told were very good value for money.

Los Cristianos is a very nice place suitable for all ages.

Bit hilly for wheelchairs on some direct routes but going via the level promenade saves a lot of effort.
Review by Kevin Demain from Morecambe
Los Cristianos, a place to chill, a place to walk, but most of all a place to relax in the sun all year round.
Review by Les Scott from Banff
Los Cristianos, has everything we need. For self catering especially, you are never far from a supermarket or restaurants, or a variety of bars. Nightlife can be anything you want. Although we mostly walk everywhere taxis and buses are cheap. I like to go twice if not three times a year and always choose L/C and am always finding new places and things to do.
Weather is usually fantastic (for us anyway) Would even go as far as to say that I am definitley considering moving out there.

Los Cristianos is a great place for a family holiday if you are not looking for anything too wild.Great for couples also as there are lots of bars and restuarants. The effect of ultra modern with trendy shops one end and the harbour and small restuarants the other is great for all taste.Los Cristianos is very clean and the locals were very friendly.
Review by Micheala Stobbs from Colne
We have be going to Tenerife for the last six years because it's got everything we want for a holiday.
Review by David Brown from Chester-le-Street
Los Cristianos is located in a bay with properties built from the beach back to the hills(mountains?) A lot of holiday accommodation is located up the hill and can be difficult walking for people with any movement problems. There are numerous bars and restaurants around particularly in the town centre. There are a large number of shops which provide a variety of goods and quality.
There is a blockpaved walkway that stretches from the far end of los Cristianos all the way to Los Americas with some quite stunning veiws
Review by Hayley Jackson from Hull
Los Chrisianos is beautiful and definitely the best resort in the Canaries. There is a good mix of people there and is ideal if you want a nice relaxing break in the sun to enjoy the bars, restaurants and beach. There is also good nightlife for the livier ones!
Review by Linda Hush from Edinburgh
We have been going to Los Cristianos for a few years now and think it is an excellent place for family holidays. The weather is always good and the resort has lots of lovely apartments and many good restaurants. I'm sure we'll keep going there for years to come.
Review by Beth Smillie from Larkhall
The resort is in the process of a major upgrade and while it was a bit shabby and run down in places, it will look a lot smarter when the work is finally completed. This upgrade may include public toilet facilities where people would be able to literary "spend a penny" (20cents).
While I appreciate that no area is 'crime free' there was a feeling that the resort was a fairly safe place to walk at all times. It was reassuring to see a police presence at all times.
I, like many others have no wish to be accosted while taking a relaxing stroll in the sunshine so it would be nice to get rid of the timeshare touts and their dubious methods of selling.

We have visited Los Cristianos on numerous occasions. It has a touch of everything that appeals to us. If we want a quiet night in, meals are easily available from a variey of restaurants. Eating out with music easily found. Nightlife on hand. Weather perfect. Boating and swimming also excursions are plentiful. Irish pubs good fun.
