The whole area is very flat and well suited to bike riding, which is a very quick and convenient way of geting around los narejos and neighbouring los alcazares. Both areas have a weekly market, good for presents and the only place that can feed a shopping addiction other than the local supermarkets.

This was a village where we could play as if we had no outside responsibilities or cares. We might get too much sun - if we did it was our own foolishness because we are all adults who laugh at each others little discomforts. Yet we had time to care for each other as we discovered the way to live in such surroundings.
