Loule is an intersting and authentic representation of a Portugues town.
There are very old historic areas of town with narrow winding cbbled streets, and canopies pulled across on wires high across the streets to shelter you from the midday sun, and the remains of a castle.
There is a modern indoor market place with local handicrafts, produce and fish and the smells that go with them!, but like any town there are more run down areas and derelect buildings.
