Majanicho is a maturing development which is ideally stuated to provide access to a choice of places to visit, these range from traditional Spanish villages to main resort centres with extensive night-life attractions.

Majanicho is a tiny fishing village situated halfway between Coralejo and El Cotillo on the north shore of Fuerteventura. This sheltered harbour is the jewel of the north shore with spectacular views across the 'Bocaina Straits' to Lanzarote to the north and the breathtaking barren beauty of the volcanic mountains to the south. Majanicho provides a safe anchorage from the magnificent Atlantic waves that brake on this shoreline as well as offering a safe haven for swimmers, snorkellers and fishermen. When conditions are right, (and they often are!), surfers, windsurfers, bodyboarders and kiteboarders are attracted to this spot from all over the world, lured by the crystal clear warm waters as well as the year around sunshine. There is no better or more peaceful place in the Canaries to watch the sun rising behind the mountains at daybreak or seeing it falling slowly into the sea as night falls. For the more energetic, it provides the perfect picnic spot for those who choose to explore the full length of the north shore. This unsurfaced stretch of road winds its way along the twisting shoreline with each turn exposing yet another breathtaking view of the real Fuerteventura.

There is nothing at Majanicho - except views of surf. good place to base yourself so that you can get to the surf on both sides of the North shore.

Quiet area which seems to attract mainly surfers. A couple of beaches but the wind means you have to be selective as to where you locate yourself. No Restaurants or bars, nearest is some 5km away

Majanicho is a completely unspoilt fishing village, set on the famous north shore of Fuerteventura, approximately mid way between Corralejo to the east and El Cottilo to the west. Looking out across the 'Straits of Bocaina', the town of Playa Blanca in Lanzarote, is clear to see. The harbour, sheltered from all , but the biggest Atlantic storms, is a playground for all water sports enthusiasts. Here you can swim in the warm, crystal clear water, or when conditions are right, surf, wind and kite surf, snorkel along the reefs, fish or simply soak in it's unique atmosphere. Watching the sun rise in the morning from behind volcanic mountains, or sink into the sea at sunset, Majanicho and the north shore are without doubt the 'jewel in the Canaries Crown.'
Review by TONY WALDOCK from NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
Majanicho is perfect for a relaxing chill out holiday but close enough to the bright lights of Correlajo if you want to let your hair down.
Review by Clare Halls from Leominster
Majanicho is as yet untouched by tourism, and in October was balm for stressed busy people.
