Mandria is a quiet, laid back village but just off the motorway, so easy to get to. It has plenty of choice as to where to eat or just have a drink and watch the world go by. There is a small supermarket that sells most of your basic needs if you dont wish to have a car or else there is a slightly larger supermarket in Timi (5 minute drive) and a huge supermarket in Paphos (15 minute drive) that caters for EVERTHING! The quiet beach is very peaceful and picturesque. It is the ideal place to go to recharge your batteries

Mandria is the typical Cypriot village with a mixture of old and new. It is near to the sea and the airport in fact it is well situated for most places of interest,Aphrodites rock is quite close and if you are a golfer there are two golf courses nearby 'Secret Valley' and 'Aphrodites Hills'
Review by Keith ONeill from Aylesbury
Very convenient for airport

Mandria was a beautiful place to stay, with a very friendly, small village centre.
Review by Jill Georgiou from Worcester
Mandria is a quiet rural village about 10-15 minutes drive from Pafos, and close to the main Pafos - Limmasol highway. Although there is some building work going on this did not affect our stay as our villa was on the edge of the development. It is not the place for '18-30's that are only interested in nightclubs, but ideal for anyone who wants a relaxing break, but also wants to be within easy travelling distance of the everything that Cyprus has to offer. A car is essential.
Review by John Smutek from SWINDON
The Village of Mandria is lovely , there is quite a lot of development taking place.
The locals are friendly and the Brits are fantastic
Local tavernas are good to exellent - depending on your tastes. (good value for money meals)
The beaches locally are pebbley (Large and small) - but pretty much a whole stretch all to yourselves and the water is very clear - we found some lovely spots - which we preffered to those around Pafos or anywhere else on this side of the Island.
Review by Una Wickremasinghe from Watford
Mandria is a small settlement 10 minutes by motorway from Paphos. There are two small restaurants offering a limited variety of food and some small shops for daily essentials. The area is otherwise devoted to market gardening, farming and agriculture but is being subjected to several building developments which do little to enhance the area.
Review by Gregory Hargreaves from Dumfries, Scotland
Mandria is just 8 Km from Paphos, it is a very quiet village with two taverns and a small supermarket, there is quite a lot of building at present and the village is growing very qickly. It is very close to the beach but it has to be said it not a great beach being somewhat neglected. Mandria's closeness to the main motorway (2 kms) makes it great for exploring the region.
Review by Tracy Jones from Sheffield
Mandria is a village just outside Paphos in Cyprus. It is a quiet little village that is a good base for touring the sights in the west and South of the island. Although a small village Mandria does boast a bakery, a bank, two mini markets and two tavernas. There is a beach in Mandria that is a short walk from the centre. There is some developement going on in parts of the village where new villas are being built so the village is growing. Mandria appears to be a very friendly and safe place to stay. highly recommended for a relaxing visit to Cyprus.

I would like to add Georges Taverna in the village of Mandria served excellent food, and welcomed us with open arms made our eating out the best yet.
Review by Lin Neale from Birmingham
Mandria is a quiet resort. The beach is definitely secluded and quiet, made up of stones and sand, mostly stones but that should not put you off. In a few years Mandria will be a lively little village as more people, ex-Pats, move in to the new villas and appartments that are being built. If you need to relax and forget what is going on in the rest of the world, Mandria is great.
Review by Paul Thomas from Telford, United Kingdom
Mandria is not for those people who want the nightlife, this is a relatively short distance away in Paphos (15 cypriot £s by taxi at the date of this review). It is idealy situated close to the A6 for exploring into Limassol and Larnaca, or heading North into Troodos or Polis
