Manilva boasts that it is one of the few villages on the Costa del Sol that remains intrinsically Spanish. It is situated to the west of the Malaga Province, 97km from the city and 35km from Gibraltar bordering the province of Cadiz.
Manilva is refreshingly different from the rest of the costal resort towns. Here you will find no high rise flats and hotels but a real Spanish pueblo. It is considerably less touristy in comparison to other Costa del Sol towns, but has recently increased its popularity with holiday-makers.
