The quiet beach of Sesi is an attraction of its own. The road from Marathon goes up over the mountains, so you can admire the terrific view all the way. Olive trees, occasional trash dumped by the roadside,
an old bus transformed into a summer hut, and then the quiet separate beach, as if outcarved from stone.
The pebbles make it a bit hard to walk into the sea, but then it is worth it - the water is plus 22 even in November!
The small village has two fish tavernas, offering good local catch. With its soothing atmosphere Sesi is a perfect place for an escape from city.
