Mojacar is still an unspoilt part of spain with a lovely climate. Something for everyone,

The 7.5 kilometre beach is excellent. the night life is plentyful although a little spread out. It's not what you'd call bustling but is busy enough to have a pleasant atmostphere. Some of the hills are fairly steep but well worth a treck up to see a little of authentic spain with small holdings etc only just off the beaten track. All in all a delightful family destination.

THE SANDS CAFE BAR ON THE MOJACAR PLAZA OFFERED THE BEST FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST AND WAS GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY THE EVENING MEALS WHERE OF A VERY GOOD STANDARD WITH FUN NITES AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY VERY FRIENDLY STAFF WITH LOTS OF ADVICE AND INFORMATION OF THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN MOJACAR
Mojacar has rustic charm
As the brochure says, Almeria offers spaghetti Western film scenery. The tours to Granada are great to see the old film sets.
This area also produces so much fruit, it's unbelievable. You can visit a lot of the olive and orange groves.
Mojacar is the most beautiful place on the Almeria coast in my opinion, with the best hotel being the Mojacar Best Hotel. It has beautiful sea views, Spanish entertainment, great food and good service.
Mojacar town itself is so rustic yet so touristy too, with many points of interest and also many things for the "typical" tourist.
Into seafood? The neighbouring fishing town of Guerucha is great and has many fine seafood restauraunts, which also serve English and typical Spanish fare.
I would recommend this resort as a MUST.
