Nissi beach was gorgeous! The water was crystal clear and you could see the sea bed up until quite far in. The water wasnt overly deep which was nice as my partner and I (not brilliant swimmers) go out and enjoy the sea quite far in. There were plenty of snack and drink bars around as well. The beach entrance is not very well lit at night which was disapointing as I would have liked to enjoy it with a night time stroll. But we stayed till sunset an it was gorgeous and the fishes come out near the shore.

Nissi beach is amazing, we went to Mexico last year and the waters at nissi are very close to mexicos crystal clear waters. We have been to several places abroad, but this beach was by far the best. A very close second to mexicos. It was so safe for the kids- the water shallow and crystal clear. Beach parties at one end for those who like lively, plenty of places to eat- (although cyprus is very expensive at the moment but i think the euro is to blame for that) Watch out for taxi drivers- most are good, but if you dont ask at the start what the charge is they will try it on at the end of your journey. Most taxis cost from 8 euros, we had paid 15 for one (altho it was a 7 seater and we hadnt checked when we got in what it would cost us) There is a very good karaoke bar called garden inn opposite nissi beach hotel...very cheap drinks at night and the restuarant connected to it sells AMAZING food...by far the best place we ate out at and prices were good for the quality. Also the service here was EXCELLENT and it even had its own park so if you have children you can see them from the comfort of your table. We went into ayia napa (with children) and made the mistake of walking down bar street- ok if your single or out to party but the touts were trying their best to get us into pubs -even with the kids!! We went to the bottom end of the street where craigs bar is- much more suitable here for the kids. We also went to tommys bar which is further in the centre- the karaoke man here WAS NOT very child friendly and kept telling the kids to get off the dance floor!!! the service here was ok from the bar staff that come to your table but they looked grumpy!! Overall id definately recommend, wouldnt go back tho but thats only becus we like to go to new places. You wont be disappointed by nissi beach and i defo recommend staying at niss villas- golden sands which you can book through holidaylettings.co.uk. look out for villa DUFFY.

We booked via Villarenters as part of a group of 50 going to Nissi Beach for a wedding. Nissi beach itself is a stunning beach with water so clear you can see your feet. My children were safe due to the bay and shallow depths of the sea. We were able to walk across the bay to the Island without trouble. The bars and snack bars on the beach cater for everyone from a soft drink to a fancy cocktail and the prices were reasonable to.
The DJ on the beach really gets you into "holiday mode" whilst soaking up the beautiful Cyprus sun. I would recommend Nissi Beach to both families and couples as you have the best of both worlds. A 10min Taxi ride takes you into Aiya Napa where you can party all night or stay at Nissi Beach to wonder around the bars and restaurants that all cater for children of all ages. A fantastic holiday for all.

nissi beach has a great atmosphere - especially around the bay - great background music from the bar. Good snorkelling and shallow waters for children.

What a surprise for me and the kids! This was way above my expectations. This was luxury, beauty and relaxation in a package of this apartment that I did not overpay for! Location was great and the swimming pool area a must. Absolutely great vacation at this nissi3 apartment.Thank you very much

Ayia Napa is still the best place for a holiday by far.We stayed at Robbies Apartment in La Casa Di Napa complex it was Great Nissi Beach is 15 minutes away and the waters and sand are quality. We thought the prices were going to be a problem this year but the road leading to nisi sqaure had drinks priced at €2.00 all day and up to 11pm so that was great. Nissi Harbour has had a face lift and the boat cruises are value for money.if you have never been to Ayia Napa before its well worth a trip to see the ghost Town of Famagusta its quite spooky !!! its also worth walking round the Sqaure during the day as there is quite a lot of local history there as well. And finaly if you can be there in the last weekend of September they have the Ayia Napa festival its really a fun place to be mixing with all the locals and seeing the local produce being made in front of you. All In all Ayia Napa gets a five star rating from our family

This was my fourth visit to Ayia Napa and have always stopped near Nissi Beach. I have visited several places on the Mediterranean and Nissi has always been my favourite beach. The colour of the water, length of beach are great. I always walk on to the beach from the Nissi Beach Hotel end as this gives you the best view across towards the Adams Beach Hotel. The Nissi Beach HOtel end is quieter with more families and the island end is more used by young clubbers with music playing from the beach bars. However, this doesnt bother me, there doesnt appear to be any trouble that I have seen and when you walk along and make the obligatory walk through the sea to the island no one bothers you. Everyone is just having fun. My only other comment is that if you leave the beach late, people have left empty cans and plastic bottles and havent used the bins provided. However, you go there early morning it has all been cleared away, I just wish the people who use the cans etc, would clear them up themselves, leaving the beach and bay as beautiful as they found it.

Nissi Beach with it's proximity to Ayia Napa Town Centre is a perfect choice for those wanting either a relaxing beach holiday or if preferred the night life is only a short distance away giving a great variety for all ages of family members. The Waterpark is wonderful fun for both adults and children and there are some superb boat trips which make a wonderful day out for families, couples or groups. There's plenty of watersports for the adventurous and plenty of beautiful scenery to relax in. The food in Nissi Beach / Ayia Napa area is out of this world with menus offering superb value and choice for all tastes. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the great variety that this destination has to offer.

Nissi Beach is a beautiful place, the actual beach is outstanding.I personally prefer to swim in a pool if you wanted there would be no need to leave the villa except for groceries a complete and utter rest from the stresses of the outside world paradise an oasis.

Nissi Beach is beautiful - we especially loved the Nissi Bay Beach Bar [ Tony the DJ on the beach plays the best music !!!] and the 'Nissi Bay Special' cocktail is one not to be missed! The watersports are also very good.

Nissi Beach is a unique area which covers many of the items usually found on a couple/family holiday wish list. The beach is wonderfully postcard perfect and the recreational areas/activities allow you to be as relaxed or as exhilirated as you desire.

Have absolutely no complaints about the villa, it exceeded our expectations and was very luxurious. Thanks again.

The reason we went to Nissi beach was to attend a family wedding, therefore there were all ages, male & female singles, couples and young children. There was something for everyone to do at anytime of the day, the waterpark, scuba diving for total beginners or advanced, para sailing, hiring scooters/quads to have a look at the other sites on the island if you want to relax and do nothing Nissi Beach is where you need to be!
A friend with his 2 year old daughter commented that he could not believe that every bar had a childrens play area so they did feel they had to leave early or be unsociable. He and his wife have booked up again for next year already (we have been back for 8 days!).
If you are going on the town Ayia Napa is literally buzzing, we were there towards the end of the season but it was still lively and you can stay out all night if you want to!
I recommend being on Nissi Beach at sunrise, take your camera with you because you will get some of the best shots you will ever take.
In summary it was much than my expectations and would recommend this holiday to anyone!

Nissi Golden Sands is a complex which is still under construction but has the poetential to be the most beatutiful, serene, upmarket apartment copmlex in the district of Aiya Napa. Its proximatey to Nissi beach is FANTASTIC and as you are not right in the centre of the town the peacefulness and views are wonderful. The apartments are distanced from the cheaper end of the market which accomodates the typical 18-30 boisterious crowd, which is great. If i were ever to go back to Aiya Napa again, this would definately be my chosen place to stay.

Amazing! One of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. The food, beaches and people are fantastic. We would hope to go back some day because we had such a wonderful time.

Great beach, much less full on than Ayia Napa itself. Little bit of a walk into Aya Napa but plenty taxi's available. If you just want sun & sand and to relax then Nissi Beach will more than satisfy your needs.
Review by ANN TURNER from OLDHAM
Quiet at this time of year but definately 'buzzing' in high season
Review by Paul McElligott from Orpington
Nissi beach is sited just next to Ayia Napa town centre, it is a fun place to go no matter what age you are, the beaches are lovely but can be crowded in the summer months, I would recomend a trip along the cost to the west of town were there are some lovely beaches that are not so packed.
There is a water park located to the west of the town centre that has lots of parking but it is only a short taxi ride away if you are on foot, there is a bus service aswell, get there early though as it is packed in the summer and the heat in mid afternoon can be overpowering. (there are lots and lots of taxies so you should never have to waite long but ask the price before you get in if you are going any distance)
There are bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, in the summer months the temperature can reach 40c or higher, most of the banks are open from 08:30 to 13:30, but there are lots of cash points around town, there are chemists etc in the town centre which are open 7 days a week in the summer months.
If you are going out of season (Nov-April) then you will find that most of the shops and restaurants are closed as the locals are on holiday.
