This is as yet an unspoilt part of portugal. The beaches are magnificent and largely untouched by developers. The people go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy having strangers visit them, it makes for a relaxing and stress free holiday.

Porto is a lovely city, stroll through the streets, meet the people, do a cruise around the duero, eat at any restaurant of the ribiera is a pleasure for the senses.
People like Braga, Guimaraes and Aveiro views are highly recommended.
Sitting on the terrace any of its beaches the best of the best.
I love Oporto
