We were a group of work colleagues on a bird-watching trip, as ort of busmans holiday. The bird-watching was superb, plenty to see and great views of almost everything.

Ourique is a friendly and welcoming town. Join in with the locals, take some time to learn and use the language and be rewarded with spontaneous laughter and friendliness. The fiesta in August delivers an alternative to our english fetes and one which is easy to participate in. Sit back and enjoy this area or take time out in the in the surrounding hills joining the Atlantic coast. It is simply beautiful.
