In Ozankoy the villas are private and nice you find they separate you from the dusty litter ridden roadsides, but you have to remember that this is a developing country. You really need a car as walking any distance in the heat can be punishing. The foods in the restaurants are of a high standard and are good value for money. So if your are going there for a poolside chill out or a more active holiday there is something for all from history to beaches and nature, a visit to see the Turtle project is well worth the experience as it is free, but donations are welcome to support the valuable university work being carried out to protect this endangered species, when else in life are you going to get the chance to see baby turtles hatch and swim out to see on their epic journey.
