A well maintained park with wild chickens roaming freely and more than happy to feed from your hand. You can also see rabbits lazing in the sun with the odd cat for company. The lake is teeming with carp, ducks, swans and turtles. Many families throw bread and soft crisps for them to feed on. This is quite spectacular for children and is best seen in the late afternoon and evening. There are two cafes and a small childrens play area.

Paloma Park was a pleasant place to visit. My mum and daughter found it amazing to see so many chickens wandering around and sheltering in the hedges. We loved seeing the rabbits and peacocks walking freely around. It made a change not to see dogs running wildly around or litter thrown on the floor.
We enjoyed our walk around.

Paloma Park is a Wonderful place, packed with area's for all ages. The playgrounds and wildlife keep the childern enterained while the scenery and well run eateries/bars cater for everybody. Cactus gardens and fabulous water fountains are just some of the other beautiful features on show.
This is a well kept park which gives you a cosy feeling.

We did find it quite a walk to bars and restaurants had quite a few taxi's I think you do need to hire a car to get about if you are in your retirement years, like we were.

Location was excellent in terms of the park opposite the apartment. With two young children, we did not have to walk very far to feel safe away from traffic. Nothing was too far: Beach, Supermarket, Dolphin Park, Market, Restaurants.

We find Benalmadena a good place to go, because it has just about everything we require, plus it has good communications to Fuengirola and Malaga. It is also just a short hop from the airport.
We have been there 5 times. Apart from the drop in the pound, we felt that the Euro price of everything had gone up quite sharply, and in restaurants I felt the portions were smaller. It didn't seem as good value as at other times. However if you are self catering and don't mind a wee bit of cooking, the fish is an excellent buy.
We found the local people very friendly especially if you take the time to learn a bit of Spanish.

Paloma Park is a paradise for all ages that was developed with considerable foresight by the local council. You will not see a park like this in the UK as Paloma is landscaping at its best. For the photographer you will find a delightful view every few metres. While for parents the park is child friendly with no litter to to be seen anywhere. Local residents have their wedding photographs taken in the park and are happy for you to share their special day. Dogs are on leads, no yobs, no drinks cans, no litter and a safe place to walk; not a bit like the UK.

Paloma Park and adjacent Selmo Marina surpassed our expectations.
